Paul Kevin Curtis, reported to be the man who sent ricin letters to President Obama and a US Senator, has been revealed to be a hardcore liberal and Obama supporter.
On his Facebook page, Curtis used the phrase "This is KC and I approve this message" on April 11. This is also the phrase used on the letters sent to people who received ricin letters:

A sidebar question is how can one be a Christian democrat?
Abortion, same sex marriage and kicking God out of everything is exactly opposite of what a Christian should be.
The important thing is he was a CHRISTIAN! That proves he’s nuts in the eyes of the left.
This story’s going to die... the MSM doesn’t like the truth... they want their readers in the dark.

Not a good day for MSNBC at all - between this Ricin character and the fact that the murderers of the AG and his wife in Texas turned out to be related to someone the man had prosecuted and not a bunch of right-wing white supremacists is making it that much harder for them to continue in their fantasy world tonight.........

They fact that he’s a Christian means he’s not a good democrat.
Indeed, I have a real problem with “so called” Christians who are demon-crats...absolute polar opposites.

I have some close friends in my Sunday School class who fall into this category. One married couple were actually hippies in college. We went to high school together and both of them actually had a quite conservative Southern Baptist upbringing. Their families have always been Dems and the husband is now a lawyer. The other male friend is one of those "Christ wants us to take care of the poor" Christians. He is also has a Ph.D. in Biology making him a true believer in evolution and skeptical about many of the miracles described in the Bible. In class discussions, he is always playing "Devil's Advocate" and going on off the wall tangents. I also work with him and have actually had discussions about how the US is going bankrupt. We cannot afford to support able-bodied individuals who choose to live on welfare and Social Security (which he is already receiving) will hot be there in a few years if something is not done. He actually thinks there will always be money for these entitlement programs.

Unfortunately there are sects of Methodists and even Baptists
who are politically on the left. They may consider themselves
to be Christians but that doesn’t mean the rest of us have to.

Just curious - how accurate are the initial tests for ricin? Is it possible that it was some other completely innocent substance (maybe glitter from his Elvis costume) and this story is going to go away?
