Haven't finished reading this or the links (bookmarked), I must comment on one line that stood out to me that must be emphasized to all:

...the BOPA elevates our “creature” to the status of a sovereign party right up there with The States...

I believe this was a willful act on the part of those who wrote the BOPA to undermine our rights and the rights of the several States, thus giving more (and more and more) power to the controlling central government.

Our Founding Fathers knew what kind of people are drawn to "public service", those who crave power for the sake of power over others. Their attempt at limiting it lasted a fair amount of time, but now the Fed is a ravenous behemoth full of blood-sucking, power-hungry tools. They are out to destroy the Constitution while making it look like they are upholding it.

Picture after picture showed groups of people - All of them using their cell phones, ibods, etc. None of them were communicating WITH EACH OTHER. They were supposed to be having dinner or lunch with each other; visiting a musuem together; etc.

I believe the following statement sums it up:

Albert Einstein: “I fear the day when technology will outpace humanity. Then, the world will have a generation of idiots.”

Along with the fact that the dems have been in control of our schools for over 50 years, and have not taught the Constitution, nor have they taught about the greatness of America. America is not perfect, because it’s run by imperfect people .. but with all its flaws .. I’d never consider living anywhere else.

I’ve said it before .. ObamaCare was designed to do away with old people .. primarily because they still remember what the Constitution says. The left does not want newer generations knowing that information .. thus you have the low information voter.

I heard a prophecy in 1985, which said some of the last spirits to be released upon the earth in the last days will be envy, jealousy, fear and entertainment. Hmmmm ..?? Seems we may be in the last days after all.

On a constitutionally-related note, here is a video of Ms. Publiush Huldah giving a short speech about how the federal government has no authority to enact gun control: http://www.americanclarion.com/18263/2013/03/12/video-federal-gun-control-is-unlawful/

Nice. I would only add that removing State agency from the Senate opened the door to the consolidated government the Anti-Federalists predicted. The "parchment barriers" of our Constitution, as James Madison described, was worthless unless backed up by competing interests. The 17th Amendment, after a few decades, effectively and for all practical purposes, repealed the 9th and 10th Amendments.

For instance, if Senators were responsible to the States rather than the rabble, would:

Scotus have stolen intra-state commerce power from the States in 1942?
The EPA get away with oppressing the States with nutty rules?
The States subject their public schools to federal oversight?
Obamacare have passed?
Add your own.

Fundamentally, absent the 17th, would Presidents have bothered to nominate judges hostile to the 9th and 10th Amendments?

The 17th must go.
