Do you see the warning signs?

Don't miss the warning signs of radicalism.

I recently posted a series of two images of a letter, written by Neville Chamberlain, (Now on archive.org, here) which is an object lesson in what happens when people don't, won't, or even can't, see the warning signs. For most people, it's don't and won't. They instinctively know they're looking at something ugly, but because none of us are taught proper history in schools we don't know what we're looking at. So they want to shield their eyes hoping it will go away. But for Chamberlain, it was can't. He couldn't see the signs, and he made life much much worse. Certainly for his country as well as all of Europe, but perhaps even the globe. We have a lot of leaders today, who can't see the signs. They make excuses, or outright reject what's right in front of their faces and choose to demonize those who do understand what they're looking at.

We are currently in the middle of the rise of radicalism, as Americans. You should take time to ask yourself, "Do I see the warning signs?"

"Do I understand the dangers of so called 'social justice'?"

"Do I see red flags all over the place when I read about Alinskyism?"

"Does my red light turn on when I read about Theodore Roosevelt?"

If(Hopefully when) you listen to that piece of audio I uploaded, I hope you won't just just limit it to anti-semitism. Radicalism goes much, much further than that into concepts such as centralized planning, eugenics, community organizing, social justice, economic justice, environmental justice, class warfare, and much more. Chamberlain's fault was not that he didn't see anti-semitism, but rather the larger problem of radicalism. Are you Neville Chamberlain? Do you dismiss it?

Regarding the Chamberlain writing.

Do you see the warning signs? Or do you dismiss them?

We walk away from the Christ eyes wide open, and now we call the resulting culture "radicalism"?

Talk about not seeing the signs.

I’m reading a biography of Theodore Roosevelt at this time.

I’ve completed The Rise of Theordore Roosevelt, and am now halfwya through Theodore Rex.

Ah, yes; the good old days! How sordid was politics circa 1900. My God, were politics corrupt then, and it hasn’t seemed to imporve much!

I haven’t completed this newest read about his time in the White House, but so far I haven’t seen anything to lump him with socialism.

I was JUST having these same exact thoughts. Last night I was watching a live camerafeed of the brooklyn protest/riot and I thinking to myself that people just do not understand what is coming at us.

I watched the most amazing things on that feed. There was a group of adult, African American, men who were trying to calm the kids down. Trying to organize them a bit, and telling them to stay non-violent.. but the kids were restless and mad.

There were suburban kids in the occupy movement yelling at the Police, and African American kids crying about jobs, and the police in riot gear and getting ready to kettle.

There was a woman of some foreign descent scream and crying and freaking out.

Thruth is that their social justice- at the top levels of government are freaking out the people, who feel they have nothing to lose.

I heard one suburban young girl say, “I am going to lit up this cig because the police are going to kill me soon anyway”.

Some mellow drama there sure, but these kids are growing up in a different world from what we knew- and they are not happy and they hate Obama and the police.

I could not agree more Salvavida! We as a nation are headed for judgement but refuse to acknowledge it or repent. God will use it to refine his Church but for the country as a whole, I’m afraid there is no hope at this point. It will be hard on us all when it comes. Unfortunately, most are still looking for a political solution instead of recognizing the moral rot that has brought us to this point - all those little compromises with the truth of God’s Word over the last 100 years. When you bring up moral issues their eyes glaze over. Sad, really sad America.

Neville Chamberlain is owed an apology by modern critics. It took him less than one year after Munich to figure Hitler out. Then he had the decency to resign and get out of the way for Winston Churchill.

The majority of American sheeple still haven't figured out BO after more than four years of misrule and being led around by their MSM masters. Plus, he will never have the decency to resign and get out of the way.

No, I clearly see the warming signs. Chamberlain, like a lot of people, tended to engage in wishful thinking. A wiser man (say Sir Winston) would have simply ignored the Hitlerjugend, giving neither misplaced encouragement nor a gratuitious insult.

Taken by themselves, Chamberlain’s comments are innoculous. In the context of being addressed to the Hitlerjugend, they are ill-advised, at best. In the light of hindsight, we know they were far worse than ill-advised.

Chamberlain, like a lot of people, tended to engage in wishful thinking.

I see it more as a reliance on the goodness of human nature. They think, in the end, people will do what is right for society. How wrong that is.

I look for people to resort to their instincts and their basest nature when assessing what will come next. The majority of people are animals. Many years ago, they held these tendencies in check. Now the veneer has been stripped away. Those who do not see it or hope for a better tomorrow will be left bleeding out by the side of the road. If they are lucky.

Cynical? You betcha.

More than that.
While he was appeasing Hitler, Chamberlain was busy building Spitfires, Hurricanes, and radar stations along the UK’s coast. The Brits won the Battle of Britain with a box of tools Churchill inherited from Chamberlain.

You're right even though a lot of armchair generals criticize the Sitzkrieg of October 1939- March 1940 as a lost opportunity for the western alliance to neuter Hitler.

The fact of the matter was that neither was prepared to do anything other than seriously prepare for their home defense the next spring.

Something the Libtards who are now busy neutering our military would be wise to learn. But they won't.

Have you considered the possibility they know exactly what they're doing?

Chamberlain and his contemporaries saw the warning signs. And they were correct at the time. The warning signs at their time were bolshevism, not fascism! By the time of the start of WWII in September 1939 Stalin had murdered or starved millions. The history written by Marxists that we are taught lies about it. Don’t accept it.

Ideologically the Nazis and the Communists were very, very similar. Read the Hayek quote on my FR profile page for more. It’s the third one down, two paragraphs.

Thanks for the comment — very interesting. But, for next time, it’s melodrama not “mellow drama”.
