After polling 190,000 conservatives, Contract From America found that Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul is the favored GOP presidential pick for 2016, as The Daily Caller reports.

While Paul leads the pack, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio are two other popular choices for 2016. New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush are running last in a pool of 32 candidates.

Look - we have some great leaders, but can only bring 1 guy out by 2016 - not the variety crapola we saw in 2012 - STRENGTHEN our position by then and pick THE STRONGEST GUY who will bring truth, toughness and enthusiasm to America.

Mine too, if Cruz was Constitutionally eligible. If he was eligible, he’d be a great choice.

My concern for illegals is that they are unchecked.

Illegal for one, unscreened, no criminal checks, no medical checks, saddling us with massive child education bills and no paying for it, massive use of public resources and benefits, drunken driving, murder, rape and disease...

Is that enough for you?

The way I see it, if Obama was eligible then so is Cruz, end of story.

Why don’t we try running someone whom everyone agrees is Constitutionally eligible next election? We haven’t done that in a while...might be cool to follow the Constitution, you know, just to see what it’s like.

Palin (who I strongly admire), Paul, Cruz, Rubio, Jindal, Haley, and yes, Walker, and whoever else pops up to run.

I could cast a vote for any one of them, but I will not vote for Jeb under any circumstances, nor for Fatso.

The MSM already have marching orders to make sure that Jeb is the GOP candidate. Rather than split the Conservative vote, maybe it's time to coalesce around one of the above who is making clear signs of running and who is polling well. If a Conservative is only 80 or 90 percent with us, but will fight for that 80 or 90 percent, then I say go for it.

Neither Sarah, nor Walker have given any indication of running, and Cruz seems dismissive of the idea. Paul has made his intention know. Rubio is flirting. Of the two I would go with Rand. I think he would fight for our rights. Rubio, not so much.

I don't want a go along to get along President. For that reason I will stand with Rand.

And American cannot have Scott Walker yet! He has too much to do in our state as it is!

Yes, still too many middle class people left to decimate.

Indeed it would, and it would certainly distinguish us from the other side, who obviously don't give a s##t about it, seeing as how we have a Constitutionally ineligible dear ruler.

This is true. And it looks like the GOP-E is trying for Jeb Bush....I’m on my couch election day if he’s the one.

Scott Walker hung out to fight and win and he did.

I didn't know Scott walker had a 1/2 million dollars in personal debt from frivolous ethics claims against him. Can you cite when that happened to him?(/s)

I suspect you are of the type who says, "My mind is made up. Don't confuse me with facts."

Agreed.

It's early, I have no idea who will actually run and who will catch fire in three (very long) years. I'll wait til we get a bit closer and hear the candidates pitch for themselves.

Yes, still too many middle class people left to decimate.

Give us just one example of someone in the middle class he "decimated". Just one.

I love the smell of liberal flop sweat in the morning......

I suspect that three years of voting records may do more to damper the Paul glee than anything else. JMO

How about gutting the ability of middle class workers to organize for more bargaining power at the labor market table?

His remarks during filibuster and questioning of Holder was brilliant. He didn’t back down like the RINOs do.

You mean government workers who belong to unions? The ones that Franklin Roosevelt fought against? The ones who were averaging over $100,000 per year?

Yep, they were just decimated...........

Pssst, ksen, I hate to break it to you, but no one, not one lost their job over this, had they not balanced the budget, a lot of them would have......I realize you have to believe certain ridiculous things to be a liberal, but you ought to check your facts before emoting.
