Iran's president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has been criticised for saying that Hugo Chávez will be resurrected along with Jesus Christ in his tribute to the Venezuelan president who died on Tuesday.

Everyone will be resurrected when Jesus returns: the righteous to the resurrection of life and the unrighteous to the resurrection of damnation.
Chavez WILL be resurrected - so he can stand before Christ’s “Great White Throne” judgment and face the consequences of his evil and unrepentant life - ultimately so that he can be cast into the Lake of Fire to burn for all of eternity.
Yeah, maybe just a little. /s
What would Ahmadinejad know about Jesus other than he likes to persecute His followers?
I thought he went too far when he preached annihilation of the Jews, but I’m silly like that.
Christians believe Jesus was resurrected.
Achmedidyerdog claims Chavez will be resurrected.
Riiight!
Achmed is also selling a slightly used Imam, to be resurrected with Chavez. Such a deal! A twofer!
My gag reflex rebelleth.
Got news for Ahmadimdork - Jesus was resurrected some 2000 years ago.
I think he’s about 2000-years too late to be resurrected w/ Jesus.
The Shiite’s believe that when the Mahdi comes issa will come back ( I won’t call their creature Jesus) and act as the Mahdi’s strong right arm. His job will be to give jews and Christians a final chance to convert to islam and those failing to do he will slay. Ahmadinejehad is claiming that chavez will help with that slaughter.
The only way he`s coming back is at the head of Satan`s army of darkness.
But I thought hi name was I`m-a-dingy-job?
Strange as it may seem, many devout Muslims would find dragging Jesus’ name into such a statement to be blasphemous.
I’m pretty sure Jesus was already resurrected. Mahmoud is incorrect.
Oh, I see.
I always laughed at Tony Snow's use of...
MyMood I'mInaJihad
Still brings a smile...
Believers iin Shia eschatology believe that when the 12th Imam returns that (the prrophet) Jesus will also return as his lieutennant.
“Strange as it may seem, many devout Muslims would find dragging Jesus name into such a statement to be blasphemous.”
It would be a good idea for those Muslims who are offended to level a protest against such blasphenous use.
