I do know there is "suspension" and that eventually they take you off of it. (same effect as banning only temporary)

Plus I have seen posts by unruly posters saying that their posts are being reviewed before being posted, and that it makes it impossible to do the FR mail feature also.

As far a I know I've never had any action taken against me by the mods, except for being asked (in private FR mail) to not post particular pictures.

I did get a notice on a thread from the Big Dawg himself to quit with a pretty intense flame war.

That's it. Like a newbie. It makes it very hard to post real time with others in a thread. By the time your reply to a comment gets posted - an hour or more has passed and the point is old.
