But George Washington was not a warmonger. All he ever really wanted was to be a productive member of the Virginia community, as a legislator, farmer, merchant, husband and father.

Hmmmmm....he sure did a knock-out job at Fort Necessity, and then engaged in some crooked land speculation activities between the F&I War and the Revolutionary War.

Sorry, but Washington was not perfect, and was in fact a ruthless social climber and land jobber, who defrauded his own soldiers out of their land grants in the Ohio Valley.

All of this is documented in Washington's own hand in the compiled Writings of George Washington from the original Manuscript Sources.

His letters to his agent William Crawford are the most damning.
