Then as now, gun owners are depicted as overweight middleaged unenlightened white men, but nowadays that’s supposed to be a dying minority.
And yes, I did do some 2nd Amendment buying following the Newtown horror, after I prayed for the souls of those poor kids.
Herblock was bad, but here in Atlanta, I have often cringed at the editorial cartoons by Joel Pett. He is clearly on board with the worst of the NRA-demonizers.
