Romney lost because he is a liberal. Not because of his faith.
Romney lost because people figured out that voting is easier than working.
Those who do not want a Mormon in the White House stayed home and we got more Obama.
4 million people either died, or quit voting Republican. They were not replaced.
The general concensus is that they were probably to the left of the party. We know that no survey of any kind has revealed the slightest element of religious belief that would account for both McCain and Romney losing those voters so it has to be political ~ and divergent from George W. Bush's positions.
Romney's squishy moderate-ness didn't help him, but that's not the main reason he lost. The main reason he lost is because we as a nation allowed the news media and all of our cultural institutions to be taken over by Leftists. If the media had been even remotely objective in their coverage of the election, Romney would be preparing for his inauguration right now, having won in a landslide. The GOP cannot and will never win another presidential election as long as every non-Fox mainstream media outlet is openly and aggressively propagandizing for the Democratic Party. The American people, sadly, are too stupid to withstand its effects.
The second reason is the intellectually degenerative effect of Political Correctness--America's dominant new religion. Had Obama been white, there is little chance he would have been elected to the White House even once, let alone twice.

Romney lost for a few reasons. One was massive fraud. It must be fixed, if we ever hope to throttle the federal government monster.
That's BS. It is because of blind butt holes that could not distinguish between one who would turn America into a dictatorship and the other that was a firm Constitutionalists. Blind BS sunk our only chance to get out of the mess we are in. And we still have the same idiots roaming around with the same insanity.
Very True. I have Mormon cousins. I did not vote for Romney simply because he too was an Obamacare Liberal. It's The LIBERALISM people. Conservatives in the GOP don't want it nor will they vote for it any longer. Until the GOP addresses that very major issue the GOP will not have another elected POTUS. That will mean likely next GOP POTUS will not be from the North East States. Romney was such so were Da Bushes. That is the key issue.

With liberals, democrats, and leftists, the statement that, “there’s more that divides us than unites us” is fair. It’s why we want the freedom to secede and maintain an America that’s based on the values that made the USA the greatest country in the world.
And there is plenty wrong with the Republican party. But it is our best hope to get what we truly want. So let’s put aside the differences and work together to take back our country.
