.....During the 2008 campaign, Obama admitted Lolo Soetoro was his step-father and he was in Indonesia in 1968 attending elementary school. Lolo Soetoro and Obama's mother, Stanley Ann Dunham-Soetoro, were married in Hawaii in 1965. Obama campaign supporters have consistently and repeatedly insisted Indonesian Law would not allow Obama to be adopted by Lolo Soetoro and he could not be naturalized as an Indonesian citizen because of his age. Furthermore, Obama supporters insist his Indonesian citizenship is irrelevant to his allegience to the United States as a natural born citizen of the United States.

Obama was not adopted in Indonesia. He was adopted by Lolo Soetoro in Hawaii in 1967. When the Soetoro adoption was finalized in 1967, Obama's original long form birth certificate was sealed by order of the Court and archived by the Hawaii Department of Health (HDOH). A sealed vital record is null and void for all future legal or administrative proceedings. In addition to sealing Obama's original long form birth certificate, the Court ordered a Certification of Live Birth (COLB) created and filed by the registrar of HDOH. Lolo Soetoro was listed as the paternal parent for Barry Soetoro for a live birth on August 4, 1961, Honolulu, HI and filed on August 8, 1961.....

You have this a little backwards. The law says how citizenship CANNOT be lost and adoption by a foreign national is not on the list.

Therefore a child adopted by a foreign national does not automatically lose their US citizenship.

You're reading something between the lines. I never said anything was automatic. The law, and more specifically the state department, has no way to protect anyone from losing citizenship when adopted into a country that does NOT allow dual citizenship. br

You and I have no common reference points. We discovered a Bari Shabazz who was a boxer, his page has probably been removed. He also adopted that name. He also may have had a motor vehicle accident in Hawaii. The codes for father’s and mother’s races are “3”. Which by the Federal codes would be “Indian (including American and Alaskan Indians)” but as I understand it the parents are in fact part-Hawaiian. That would mean that the Hawaiian state codes do not match the Federal codes even when the coded entry is used by both entities.

That’s interesting. I wonder why they titled Chapter 3 - “Loss of Nationality” subtitled
“Loss of Nationality by Native-born or Naturalized Citizens”?

And why did they begin Chapter 3 with:

“SEC. 349. (a) From and after the effective date of this Act a person who is a national of the United States whether by birth or naturalization, shall lose his nationality by - “

And they go on to list 10 ways that a citizen of the US can lose their citizenship (with adoption not being one of the ten).

I’m convinced it was the podium debate. I’m also convinced that it was a question from the illegal alien moderator (Rodriguez or Gonzalez?) about immigration to Keyes where Keyes went on about why there is a need for allegiance and loyalty to this country to become a citizen and had expressed many reasons for legal immigration and gave many reasons why our country needed immigration laws and had surmized his point with why we require our Commander and Chief to be a natural born Citizen for our country to be the President of these United States. Then Oblah-blah retorted with AGAIN how he was not running for president but as senator. I watched a replay of two debates that were advertised on WJFK during the Don and Mike show in 2007. C-SPAN advertised the double header debate for over two weeks and one of the selling points was about how they were “unedited” recordings. At the time I was more astonished that C-SPAN was actually advertising on the over the radio for a rebroadcast of an old debate between Keyes and Obama but since I was a big Keyes fan, I paid attention. What I will never forget is how the C-SPAN host read a letter from either the local or national DNC stating that Obamas did not mean he was not eligible. It blows my mind that this has been scrubbed. Today I am a little concerned that the (Spanish)??? moderator died suddenly. I told my wife at the time that as soon as this gets out they will have to get Hillary back in the race. I saw Oblah blah give a scared and defensive response to what Keyes stated that wasn’t directed towards him personally. Which said it all. Keyes stated that he did not remember and without the “Special” unedited tapes, no one knows the difference. I can’t even find the date C-Span actually played that double header debate. Scrubidy- scrub - scrub. When I did see the re-broadcast, the initial COLB forgery had been released. I do remember that much.

I would like to amend this and say that I think Keyes surmised his point about illegal citizens with pointing out why our Constitution requires even our Commander in Chief of the USA to be a natural born Citizen for precisely the same reasons we demand loyalty to this country for people to become it's members to vividly contrast why amnesty was wrong. Keyes was interrupted by the moderator, yet Obama retorted with how it does not matter because he is running for Illinois Senate and not President of the USA. All of the tapes of the Senate debate between Keyes and Obama were the "edited" tapes, and back in 2004 only the Commies were thinking of installing a Usurper named Hussein as President. The tape that has the exchange between Keyes and Obama had recorded the entire debate without the broadcasting station breaks edited out. Because it was both Keyes and Obama ignoring the moderator and Obama's queer, and out of place response only made sense today.

Svenmagnussen, could you please explain why the SCOTUS ruling in Minor on NBC doesn’t give the same natural right for the “child” Barrack Hussein Obama II ? How did Barry prove “through a standard of preponderance of evidence” ...forfeit of his U.S. citizenship? (if Barry ever possessed such a distinction)

Also, when I read the blog I get a little befuddled reading why Soebarryhussein is crossed out. Are you stating that because little Barry Soetoro’s name was crossed out; that fact proves Barry had become an Indonesian citizen?

The name just happens to belong to a very large, powerful family in Indonesia. You'll find it written as Subarkah in recent times, as follows:

I have no idea who crossed what out, it seems SAD misunderstood the instructions, and crossed out the name on the flipside, instead of running a line through why/what she wanted removed. That’s a real mystery, IIRC in every Hawaiian BC from 1961 that has coding, the father’s race and business are coded the same number. For the Nordyke’s it is a number “1”, for Obama - number “9”, for the WND BC it is a number “3”. Is it just a weird coincidence? The two fields are completely unrelated.

I haven't followed the coding story closely, and I agree, it's hard to pin down what The Daily Pen states, but this item, from their webpage, used as a guide:

Number three for example, might be 'academic' - and that might include both a student as the kenyan was, and a teacher, for want of a better example.

It looks as if the kenyan was shown as a number 9 because the entry was AFRICAN and that is NOT a race. Btw, I base my comments on the belief that the kenyan student and ANN S OBAMA, who showed up in the Seattle Polk as ANNA OBAMA were the parents of the child Mary babysat in January, 1961.

The name Barack Hussein Obama 11 is on that index imo because he was born in Hawaii. He's just NOT the man in the WH. He shows up with Ruth and his father in Kenya in a family photograph taken in 1966, about a year after Mark was born.
