Obama could learn a thing or two about fiscal responsibility from "Honey Boo Boo's" Mama June

If Mama June knows what the rest of America knows about living within your means, why can't President Obama and the Democrats figure it out?

You know what happens when an American family runs out of money in the bank or available credit on their charge cards?

Of course you do because every American, other than those who play with taxpayer money, have to live somewhere within their means or face the prospect of getting cut off.

Only in Washington and in the State Houses around the country can you take in $1 and spend $3. The reason for this is that these public servants are playing with other peoples money so running up huge deficits doesn't really matter to them. If they overspend they simply raise taxes!

That is of course until the taxpayer is tapped out to!

Mama June's primer on fiscal responsibility!

"According to People.com, "Mama" June Thompson, the mother of the child for whom the show is named (seven year old Alana Thompson, aka "Honey Boo Boo"), has been putting most of the earnings from the show into five equally divided trust accounts for her four daughters (including Alana) and her granddaughter.

The funds will be kept in each girl's trust until she turns 21, with the only exception being school expenses or medical emergencies. With each episode of the show paying an estimated $15,000 to $20,000, "Mama June" has established very nice nest eggs for her girls.

The People.com article also quotes "Mama June" as saying that they pay their bills from what her husband, "Sugarbear," earns as a contractor, and their biggest splurge was a 2005 Ford Expedition:

"You're never gonna see me drive a Range Rover or a Mercedes...Never gonna live above my means."

- "Mama June" Thompson"

Might I be so bold as to suggest Mama June for president? She sure couldn't do any worse than who we have in the White House now!

Something the Left has known forever: the best way to get to the masses is through the popular culture.

Suddenly I have a new found respect for Mama June! From what I’ve read, that “Kate with 8” whatever isn’t doing this. That boob, “Chumley” from Pawn Stars bought a Lamborghini.

She also cuts coupons. Her kitchen looks like a grocery store

It's a sad day when when paying your bills, after maxing out your credit cards is considered "living within your means". I agree that what Obama is doing is even worse, but I also start out with the premise that maxing credit cards is well beyond "living within your means".

BTW, the link attempted to hijack my IE8, and would not let me exit. I finally killed it, but only with multiple actions from the Task Manager.

That show sure is silly. I watched it once and I was actually impressed with Mama June, that she is much smarter than I had been led to believe. The family lives in a bit of a different culture than I have seen before, I will admit. June is more American than Obama, and would make a better president.

God bless her.

Reality show stars demonstrating more common sense than the President of the United States.

Check another one off that Nostradamus list.
