By a Google search for “Stig Waidelich birth certificate”. One of the search results comes up:

I would guess that when someone clicks the “view replies” button on a FR comment, the FR software compiles the replies to that comment on a web page with its own url. That page then joins all the billions of pages that exist on the internet and is searchable by search engines like Google.
Although when I just tried it using BING, the “View Replies - Free Republic” wasn’t one of the results. So maybe it’s just magic.
Wow. There were enough people clicking to see the replies to that particular post, that the URL to view replies came up in a Google search. Who’da thunk it?
After I posted the question I realized that the URL was for replies to a post so I figured that’s how this combination of posts was possible. I wonder why there were so many searches for replies to that particular post. Apparently more people searched for the response to that post than even found the Waidelich BC image through all other means, unless you clicked on a Google item that was lower down on the search results than the link to just that post.
Weird.
