This reminds me of those Wyoming college students who ran and hid when their instructor was attacked.
Don’t say that. When confronting Breivik in Norway, he was opposed by squadrons of highly trained office workers trying to paddle a zodiac and waiting for a heli pilot to show up.
Eventually he got bored, stopped shooting and waited for arrest (and the press).
Breivik is the exception of mass shooters....he has been determined to be totally sane. He had a motive behind his episode, and it may take fifty years to determine if his theory is correct.
We’ll give up the Second Amendment when the media gives up the First Amendment.

There is something about yesterday’s incident that is too perfect from a gun control advocates standpoint. So perfect in fact that I am concerned it may all have been choreographed. Currently, I am reading some reports that say the shooter’s mother had no connection to the school or the classrooms where the shooting occurred. I will be looking at this incident very critically for evidence of an underlying plot.
Remember FORT HOOD!! It happened a couple of years by an Islammist terrorist US Army captain who has yet to be prosecuted. He has been able to make a mockery of the military justice, with his demand to wear a beard and getting the judge dumped from the case. Yet our so-called CIC remains mute out of his concern for his Islamist buddies. But have no fear that Obama will use this CT. horror to scare the people into tearing up the 2nd amendment.

Good thing we have a President for Infanticide who is crying for dead children and asking that they be disarmed just as he wants the USA without nuclear umbrella for allies. (sarcasm off)
The media thinks the First Amendment is just for them. It doesn't apply to anyone else.

Liberals want gun control and censorship. It frees them from the likelihood of immediate consequences for their destructive behavior.
Gun free zones are free kill zones. A million crimes are stopped yearly by armed citizens protecting themselves, their neighbors, family and property with guns.
States with the most stringent gun control laws suffer the highest incidence of gun related crime.
The only meaningful question is, what will it take to stop an armed lunatic shooting children in a classroom?
Disarming teachers, parents, staff and students will not stop him.
Calling the police with an average response time of 15 minutes will not stop him.
Confiscating every gun in the nation will not stop him.
Locking up every sociopath will not stop him.
The ONLY way to stop a madman from killing children is to physically stop him with equal or superior force. Any number of personnel at the school could have stopped this rampage with a gun. An armed citizenry is a safe citizenry.
Meanwhile, the most vicious, inhumane slaughter imaginable goes on with the blessing of every true racist. The infanticide of 50 million citizens, predominantly black, is applauded as freedom from antiquated morality.
The agenda of the left is identical in both cases. They demand that restrictions be placed on the ability to stop the slaughter of children. They want the teacher with a loaded gun in her desk imprisoned. She should never be permitted to protect her students.
Give up guns? Give up abortion first. Then we will talk about the second amendment and the right to life.
Breivik was a false flag, and it is almost certain what kind of false flag.
The left in Norway was in steep decline when he appeared, and the islamists under pressure from the right/libertarians. Overnight, the right/libertarians became literally hunted. I, myself, had people come on my front door telling me the police would no doubt be on their way. The socialist parties ballooned, and there is NO party anymre - not even the right - without token muslims/muslim kommissars.
You might even see him as test run for the Obamoids.

Someone at a Starbucks (yeah, I know, why am I there? Sorry, we all have our demons...) Anyway, someone at a Starbucks blathered on about how this is absolutely clear why we need to ban assault weapons! I couldn’t help myself, after a long day, to have such stupidity on display, the naked glee of pouncing upon a tragedy to make political hay.
I spoke up loudly, “What, so he wouldn’t have had an assault weapon when he went into the classroom and started shooting children?”
“Exactly!” crowed the woman. “Think of all the lives saved!”
“Wow, wonder what would have happened if the shooter had bothered to take the assault weapon out of the back of his car. It’s alright, don’t let any facts get in the way of your agenda. Better hurry, the little bodies might cool before you can pick their bones for your cause.”
I stalked out after that, and took a few minutes to calm down from my rage, the woman hurried out, and a couple people who had been with her exited as well. The young woman who had been listening to her friend thanked me for shutting her up. And I apologized for causing a scene and disturbing their evening. “And this is why I’m a conservative,” she replied. “We have the decency to realize when it’s appropriate to speak out, and embarrassed to have to tell liberals when they’re being idiots.”
Instead of conservatives just fighting a defensive battle against the gun-controlling left, it is important that we also make this an *offensive* fight as well.
That is, *they* call for gun control; so *we* call for expediting the death penalty for murderers.
Right now, part of the public are being persuaded to be more supportive of gun control, precisely because it is the only argument being made. Just defending gun rights is just a “static defense”, so will likely persuade far fewer people.
However, if while defending gun rights, conservatives launch their own attack, demanding that the federal courts quit spending decades on minutiae excuses for *not* executing murderers, it will persuade a LOT of people that a faster and more certain death penalty is needed.
Some easy arguments:
“If this murderer had survived, should he have been executed within a year or two for his crime, or wait two decades, over arguments like injecting him with one drug or three, that have been heard time and time again?”
“The sane thing to do is execute killers like this quickly, instead of letting liberals use them as toys.”
“It costs the taxpayers millions of dollars to put vicious killers like this in prison for life. Instead they should be executed without delay.”
“Why are the same people who are in favor of gun control opposed to executing murderers?”
