The post-storm housing a refugee camp on the grounds of the Monmouth Park racetrack is in lockdown, with security guards at every door, including the showers.
No one is allowed to go anywhere without showing their I.D. Even to use the bathroom, you have to show your badge, said Amber Decamp, a 22-year-old whose rental was washed away in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.
The mini city has no cigarettes, no books, no magazines, no board games, no TVs, and no newspapers or radios. On Friday night, in front of the mess hall, which was serving fried chicken and out-of-the-box, just-add-water potatoes, a child was dancing and dancing to nothing. Were starting to lose it, said Decamp. But we have nowhere else to go.

Whew, that makes ist all better....I was really worried there for a minute.
Just knowing that makes it all good, right?
IIRC, the Japanese were first interened at Santa Anita Race Track.
The “Abandon all hope all ye who enter here” would’ve tipped me off that FEMA camp was a loser.
Bull shit.
If we take FEMA for task for this and it is not their doing, we look misinformed. We have the info that this is being done by the State of New Jersey. This has to be hung on Chris Christie's fat neck.
There was a place for the Katrina folks to go. FEMA bought entire apartment buildings in Houston. People all over the country were taking people into their homes. Churches all over the country were “adopting” families. I’m guessing none of that is happening today because the people, the churches and the government can’t afford it.
This story was NOT about those displaced NYers you seem to despise...it's about displaced New Jerseyites.
The problem here is that the camp operators are trying to prevent the problems in the camp from being reported to the outside world. That is wrong. And it appears to be the State of New Jersey doing it. Freedom of speech does include being able to use your cell phone. Lying about lack of power and unplugging charging phones is philosophically little different than the feds pulling the plug on FR.
I get it.
The Dems and the media convinced the public that they could afford to sleep through this I’ve election and so the public complied.
It will take a lot of hurting to teach the public this very important lesson of never sleeping and watching the watchers.
I remember as a young man the empty barracks along the freeway between Pleasanton and Livermore CA that was used to house the Japanese during WW2.
First off I can seriously see the requirement of a VERY portable solar charger for your phone, when disaster strikes they may give you a meal, a cot, and water but they don’t want you telling it to the rest of the world.
Speaking of charging a cellphone and power, a charger is drawing less power than a single marker or tailight on a car, we are talking in fractions of a watt.
I bet they are also considering activation of cell phone jammers.
I’ve = one from my previous post. My auto checker betrayed me.
Also Wayside, which is also know as Sheriff Pichess Honor Ranchero.
Now fondly named North County Correctional Center in Santa Clarita Co.

Yeah, but you have to know which dog was eating on your carcass so that you shoot the right one.
Are you joking? This is what absolutely staggers my mind. This story, just as you related it, repeated thousands of times over! I simply cannot grasp how twisted people think, but I know it happened, amny times over. Wow. My only way I can get my head around this is that the Lord has allowed people to be deceived for His purpose. There is no other explanation, IMO.

ISN'T ASKING FOR ID'S RACIST?
Yes, obviously.
