I believe this story and it is consistent with Mitt’s beliefs. But again, what would have brought that to court? This lady did not have to take Romney’s or the church’s advice. Why would she need to go to court and then get records sealed?
Believe me, I hope you are right. Because this will go no where if that’s what it is. But Allred usually has something explosive that can’t be disproved easily.
Remember, Mitt can't give his version of the story without violating clergy-congregant confidentiality, which he won't do.
Allred can bring the case to court even if it is later thrown out as without merit. The object is not to actually win the case, but to throw enough doubt in some voter's minds to change the outcome of an election.
