There is another reason why Detroit and every other urban center in this country has become a third world cesspit. But mentioning it is verboten. The occasional aberration of a Republican mayor is simply a temporary band aid over large and suppurating wound.

I’ll mention it. It’s called the black undertow. Thug black culture, birthed by the “Great Society” and of course the democrat party, is what has made all this possible.

There are always two common denominators in cities in decline.
One, of course, is first and foremost; Democrat party rule. The second , as in this case, is a feral thug culture that has zero interest in playing by the rules, or being productive. Until this can be honestly and openly debated, and the truth be told, all is lost. Atlana is next. Look at Gary, Indiana. There are many, many more. Care to guess which ethnic “group” is the majority?

We MUST begin to speak the truth on these issues. To hell with cries of “racism”. We ignore this at our peril.

Of course you’re right.

Time and time and time again, here on FR we see the conservative mantra that “liberalism has destroyed the cities”.

I suggest anyone who actually believes this to go to the cities of Bennington and Burlington, Vermont. Both are full of people who are EXTREMELY liberal in attitudes, and who elect public officials who are, as well. These folks are literally “off-the-wall” liberals.

Yet both Bennington and Burlington are as safe or safer than the locales where most reading this post reside right now.

If you visit those places, there is something which will become immediately obvious to you, vis-a-vis cities like Detroit, Balitimore, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Chicago.
