This article is going to make many people angry. I don’t care because it needs to be said. Doctor Who has become fan wank. I am not slamming the performance of Matt Smith who I think is brilliant as the Doctor. I am slamming this current season’s writing staff and their inability to craft a believable Doctor Who story.

I thought the headline was the subject: “Doctor who has become fan wank,” like “Doctor who owns eighteen snakes”. What was the predicate?
“Doctor who has become fan wank searches internet for electrician.”
“Doctor who has become fan wank finds relief with acupuncture practicioner.”
“Doctor who has become fan wank moves to Greenland, takes up dogsledding.”

I’m OK with the current season but I hate to see the Ponds leave but that’s part of the show.

It used to be a really cool show. Till it turned into a homosnog fest!
just watched the latest episode, The Angels Take Manhattan (S07E05). it’s a solid episode with lots of twists and turns.
i won’t say anything regarding the content or storyline, but will say it’s a very good episode and definitely worth viewing
Watching Doc Who in America now. The astronaut shoots the Doctor. I haven’t watched for a while so that was a spoil;er for me. Wish I hadn’t seen that!
That said, the loss of Amy is KILLING ME!
Matt Smith makes a great Doctor Who. Wish he would stay around longer. Yes, Tom Baker and some of the others were fantastic but I really liked Matt Smith.
Oh...and Amy Pond...Did I mention how much I liked Amy Pond as the companion?

It would look like about 80% of Tennant's work.
Or about 60% of Eccleston's. To be fair to Eccleston, he only had the first seasaon of the relaunch, and they limited the scope of the series while building a new fan base. His doctor stayed on Earth (or in Earth orbit) and only traveled to the past a couple times.
The first episode with Amy as a little girl was awesome. The food scene was great.
I was watching some Western episode where he is given a horse and told his name is Joshua from the Bible. He corrects the giver, that no, his real name is [insert some girl’s name] with gender identity issues. Little hostile there, lost my interest with that.
I wish I could find a picture on the net of her in that...ummm what was it ...meter maid/policewoman/whatever outfit? SHE WAS, and still is, HOT!
I guess a leggy Karen Gillan made a more lasting impression in that epi.
