Gays think they are normal and will be treated like typical people, forgetting that typical people go about their business quietly, not wearing a sandwich board describing what they do in the bedroom or with whom.
They are spoiled by how they are treated in the US due to their constant screams of discrimination and let their guard down when they mistakenly think that everyone in the world loves them, forgetting that only the United States has a Constitution, Declaratino of Independence and Bill of Rights.
Not saying that Mr. Stevens paraded his lifestyle but the person responsible for sending him there had to have known there would be clash of cultures before he was sent and the risk of death if he was discovered.
Not all gays wear their sexuality on their sleeve. You
may even know a gay or two without knowing it. Per-
sonally, those who keep their activities to themselves
do not bother me at all. I work w/a few gays and I’m
on friendly terms with a few lesbians. Even invited to
a lesbian wedding recently. I asked “When is it?” She
answered “Next February”. I replied “Ah, I’m busy that
day”. She laughed.
I don’t know if Ambassador Stevens was gay but he was
born in my small hometown and I had the pleasure of
having his grandfather Elmer “Chief” Stevens for a
substitute teacher several times in HS. That folks are only
speculating about the sexual preference of Chris Stevens
is a sign to me that he was not one to flaunt his sexuality
and I doubt that bastards who killed him knew or cared.
