1.) Do we know for certain that Zero's Dad was not exempt from prosecution under American law?

Obama wants the distraction. My guess is that Obama has many other things he wants to hide, and that he know he can win this argument, so this is where he makes his public fight.

I am not at all confident, but until proof appears that he was born elsewhere, there is little that can be done under the law.
