Very sorry I know what you are going through. My wife has stage IV and brain tumors. She was very lethargic a week ago sleeping 20+ hours and eating the same way.... I was really scared.
The doc started her on a half of steroid pill (2mg) and she has been much better. The steroid isn’t a cure but it has improved her life. She doesn’t sleep so much and she eats much better....

My heart goes out to you.
She should avoid all animal products like the plague though. Seriously. Lots of green tea. And I read that Shark Cartlidge fights cancer.

It’s funny, when I read this in your post I thought how I have thought the same thing. I was actually inspired, ironically since it’s the anniversary (another thing I don’t want to coincide with anything happening to Barb), by the man who was saved from the WTC on 9/11 getting “lucky” that the plane missed him.
I’ve heard his story many times - he says before the plane hits, “Lord, I can’t do this, You take over!”
And indeed, that man lived!

THIS, is what I worry about much with my mother. Not to mention her own health being affected by it. My mother has always been “faithful” but especially now, she seems to question “why me?” and “why after all these prayers and penances?” and the like. I.e., how could God let this happen - you know. I don’t want her to lose Faith. I don’t want her to be cynical or faithless because of it. As you said, things like this happen every day, not just to us. And it doesn’t mean God doesn’t love us or is punishing us. Just that it’s part of God’s bigger plan. That’s all I can say about it, but I’m not very good at talking to Mom about it.

I lost my brother to cancer. It’s hard on everyone. I think it may have been the hardest on my parents. I just think parents are not supposed to see their kids pass away.
I will keep your entire family in my prayers.
