It follows the Cloward-Piven strategy-- overload the system until it crashes, then create the "workers' paradise" (communist dictatorship).

You think we're in debt now, just wait for Obunga's second term in office.

Only hope Romney has is if he picks a conservative VP.

Romney is a complete gutless disappointment, and I have a bad feeling his VP pick is going to be a disappointment as well.

The expression bail out and rescue suggest what is perhaps the most important reason that inflation tends to accelerate. This is the fact that the very destruction and suffering that inflation causes makes still more inflation seem necessary and desirable.

The fact that major cities and industries need bailing out - which, of course, the government would finance largely on the basis of an increase in the quantity of money is itself mainly the result of years of inflation and the consequent systematic overstatement of profits leading to the taxation and consumption of funds required for the replacement of assets. It is a consequence of all of the destructive effects of inflation on saving and capital formation.

I’m not going to read a single comment in this thread. I just wanted to say that Obama obviously has no clue when it comes to what it takes to foster economic growth. None whatsoever. How the MSM can continue to support such a socialist/Marxist dolt is beyond me.

At least he’s given Jon Stewart some more material....

It’s not the messiah who’s the problem. It’s the f%^&**g scu&bags who are going to vote for him.

That is so right. And that goes for all the scum bag politicians. Harry Reid is a Senator because the people from Nevada flocked to the polls to vote for him. If Harry Reid was a good man then the people of Nevada would have voted for someone else. You can say the same about almost every state/rotten leader in the country. It is the people of our country that are idiots. These leaders we got are the leaders we want, including Obama. Actually this is not quite true. Actually the vast majority of Americans don't care enough about who leads us to even vote at all.

The only problem w the crash, there won’t be any public service. No one would get paid. For some time, the civilized West will be total anarchy.

“Socialist knows socialism. “

The GM deal is closer to classic fascism. They are still a private company but take orders from the federal government. Like IG Farben, Bayer, and the other big companies of the Third Reich.

Great comment!

Is it just me or does GM still seem unsustainable the way it is operating? Apparently they just have to stay solvent until after the election. The advertisements now say that you can buy a Chevy and return it later if you don't like it. Talk about pulling in some false profits! Can I really buy a new car, return it used, and get my money back? How stupid is that? It reeks of a money laundering front company.

Actually Ford was on the receiving end of government secured loans to the tune of $5.9 billion in 2009. Ford also led the lobbying effort to get the other two automakers to receive bailout funds from the government.

When you tell someone, "Obama is a communist" and they say, "Oh, that's ridiculous," just refer them to Commie Obama at Commieblaster. There are so many sources on Obama being a Marxist, socialist, communist, progressive, that's it's hard to believe they're so uninformed. . and they vote too.
