People were always getting ready for tomorrow. I didn't believe in that. Tomorrow wasn't getting ready for them. It didn't even know they were there.
― Cormac McCarthy, The Road
I dont think you really get how serious things are becoming.
I want you to take a moment and look at this photo.
Do you know where this is?
This is India over the past two days.
According to Associated Press, Reuters and other sources today there is 600 million people without power.
600 Million People! That is equal to the entire population of North America and Central America!
Can you imagine if that was here?
Come on over to "The Event" to read more!

Now I know why I haven’t read this McCarthy feller.
Here’s to all the outsourced American jobs that are not working in India!
Oh noes, all our stuff is stuffed
Private industry (which runs the bulk of the outsourced operations) in India runs on privatised power and backed up with generator sets up to 100% capacity. That’s how bad public utilities are in India.
Really? You came here to steal an audience to your blog?
You aren’t exactly conservative material buddy, you fail as someone having character.
The way this guy writes it’s more like the short bus.
Welcome to FreeRepublic.

I can tell you, you’re missing out. He’s an exceptional writer to include “All Those Pretty Horses” and “No Country For Old Men” which were both made into movies. You have to know enough Spanish to get by because his characters in Mexico speak Spanish with no translation. The other thing which is somewhat unique is he doesn’t use quote marks but simply indents paragraphs as speakers change.
My 'Welcome to FR' is the moral equivalent to a middle aged southern lady saying "Aren't you special" or "Bless your heart". Many retread trolls get shivers when I post that line to them. I never post it without meaning to seem ominous.

Shibumi,
As I have watched over the last couple of posts, your thoughts and feelings on my writings have been most unkind. You used the term “far over my head” to describe the people here in the forum. I thought freedom stood for all people being equal?
In your private messaging you have also used other colorful metaphors to describe me and my timing as well. Please restrain yourself.
I would debate you on your comments, however you seem to be already set in your mindset toward my writing and the subject matter on which I write, and a debate would only suffice to show how low people can sink.
FreePublic is a place were people can share ideas and thoughts on freedom, not to fight.
I do my best to look a the comments that are posted to the forum. I typically don’t respond those that are just plain mean or “troll like” in nature, probably due to the fact they are attempting to draw me out in to an open fight or debate in order to tarnish my writing.
I fully recognize that a majority of the people who read this forum are very intelligent freedom loving Patriots and I very much respect what Free Public stands for.
I would ask this, If you don’t like my writing. Don’t read it.
You have your views, and I have mine. I write out of passion and concern.
I write to continue to wake the World up, and I don’t just post my writing exclusively on FreePublic, I post in many different other places and it has been received quite well.
If your asking why I post only excerpts, it is due to the formatting that Blogger provides me. If I could carry over the formatting from my site to here. I would do it in a heart beat.

The content of your site can be posted here quite easily by grabbing the source.
Tuesday, July 31, 2012I only c/p'ed down to the first embedded video, as FR does not allow that application to be posted."Mom always told you to put on clean underwear..."

What would happen? What has happened before? Remember the east coast black out in 2003? It affected millions of people! No transportation, no power to the grocery stores, no power to the banks.
How would you react if the power went out?
Better yet what if the power never came back on? As I have posted before NBC is getting ready to launch a show that I am absolutely stoked for. The premise of the power going out completely and never coming back on is really going to freak people out.
Contrary to what the anti-blog freeperbeaters convey, I don't see anything wrong with posting a fairly long excerpt (with live links just like in the article, using HTML) with a link back to the site.
Your blog is quite clean, no invasive ads or popups and nothing my anti-virus has to warn me about.
Good article, thanks for posting!
And if you would like for me to post the rest of your article (sans embedded videos), just ask as I would be glad to do it for you.

You too? I thought Mr. Ditter was the only guy who didn’t wear underwear!
