I know I am not as "scholarly" as the lot of you; however, I do love my republic. I also know that this is one of 1000's or 100,000's of emails you all have received since the ruling on ACA. Last I checked, it was the duty of SCOTUS to uphold the constitution even if the electorate was to "dumbed down" to know the difference. What good are the robes, the payroll, etc, if you do not uphold the Constitution of the USA? Yes, Roberts you "claim" we get the government we voted for; however, what you plainly disregard is that our founding fathers put stop gaps in for an ignorant populace...not just with the electoral college but also with our system of checks and balances. It is not YOUR duty to write law; hence the reason you are a JUSTICE and not a LEGISLATOR. It is not YOUR DUTY to tell a plaintiff or defendant what he or she MEANT to say or suggest...as Ginsberg would like the country to believe. Your ONLY duty is to uphold the CONSTITUTION OF THE USA...if a law is unconstitutional then it is UNCONSTITUTIONAL....period! I would like to know when was the last time any of you black robes EVER put your life on the line to uphold the CONSTITUTION that you took an oath to defend???? Must be nice to sit at the "mall" everyday, removed from the evils of the world. You will live with this to your grave and your family will have it hanging over their heads for generations to come. You took an oath Sir, close to the same oath that many have given the ultimate sacrifice for...but yet you will continue to live at the "mall" with your ill will toward this great country and everything that she and her people have been able to offer the world. I would say that if I had been in your shoes and my family, et al had been threatened....I would have stood like a man and true to the oath I took and upheld the convictions of our Fore Fathers, as I have had many friends/acquaintances that have either died on the battle field or have been left with considerable scars. You my friend are an enemy of this great nation and have left such a distaste in my mouth, all of you in Washington have....it is such a disgrace to all who have given the ultimate sacrifice so that you can "don" your rob on a daily basis.

If they would read it and give a damn what we think, it might accomplish something. You should have included in your letter you wonder if he and the rest of the court will continue to be exempt just like the illegal Mexicans he allows across our borders.

And ask him how can insurance for everyone assure them they’ll have AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE. I’ve had good insurance, which means it was “affordable” and it almost got killed on the table by a shitty doctor.

Most of us don’t want affordable healthcare until we have quality healthcare. And this bill is going to lower the quality.

I had sent a note a while ago telling Kennedy that they really have to reign in the Commerce Clause and get the federal government back to where it needed to be - and if they didn’t, this country would be finished.

I later read an article that said letters never make it to the Justices because the staff there doesn’t want to ‘contaminate’ their judgement. I guess they really just want the elites and the media to only have access to them.
