In Bill Maher’s case, yes, we should get over the notion of exceptionalism.
We need to get over this idea of Bill Maher.
I’d like to see the USA get over its celebrity exceptionalism first.
Why is it that these liberal hacks all want the rest of us to bow down to the alter of their narcissim, but demand that America and Americans all be viewed as less than dirt? Maher needs to dry up and blow away.
Need to develop a good boot scraper with Maher’s face. When you scrape the BS, CS, PS etc. off your boots on his bottom lip, it would fall into his mouth.....instead of spewing BS, CS, PS, etc., he would be getting it back. Would be an excellent present or party favor down here.
HBO has a number of great series on its network. Too bad it has to ruin their listing with Maher.

1) Everybody in the world believe their nation and or region within their nation is exceptional. It's human nature.
2) We Americans have the history to prove ours.
And you know what? When Mayer thinks of America he thinks of WHITE. Mayer also believes we are exceptional but he thinks it is because we are white therefore we should not be going around and gloating about our exceptionalism. He's a racist who believes non whites are inferior. He's sick!
