You might want to try Kirks’ Castile soap. I first used it a long, long time ago - it washes hair, clothes, etc. Hair works better with rinsed with water and a dash or two of vinegar in it, if you have hard water.

I buy it by the case directly from Kirks, it seems to be slightly different (more like the kind from years ago) than what is in the store locally. I have enough for a long, long time.

Just do a quick search on Kirks. Now they have other stuff like liquid soap etc, but the bar kind is all I’ve ever used. They also have two kinds now, with fragrance and without. I much prefer without, even though the kind with is very non-offensive.

I have heard of this soap but never used it. Is there anything special about it, or has it just been around a long time?
