Maddow Challenges Romney’s Use Of Trump While He Insists Obama Is A ‘Kenyan Usurper’

Donald Trump is many things, but in the political world, he has made his recent name on being a birther. This argued Rachel Maddow last night, giving him credit for being a great asset to Mitt Romney’s campaign but questioning the morality of having a birther be a great asset to one’s campaign. What to do, Maddow asked, when “the single best known household name to speak up” for you also thinks the President is a “Kenyan Usurper”?

“Nobody can be responsible for the views of all their supporters,” Maddow noted, arguing that if you, the viewer, had wacky beliefs and also liked Romney, that wasn’t really his problem. “But Donald Trump is not you– he is a prominent part of the Romney campaign.” Romney, she concluded, was “raising money off of Donald Trump… while Donald Trump is simultaneously preaching that President Obama is secretly not really the President,” and those two facts are not severable.

Trump taking up the cause and Apaio refusing to back off must be causing naked panic in the WH. No wonder Obama is starting to act and speak more erratically. It's going to be hard for even Jarrett to keep him glued together through Nov. If Mitt hurts Obama’s feelings in the debates, look for a major public meltdown.

Yes, what's got him very worried is what Arpaio's posse has on him. Keep a close eye on Obama to watch his behavior.

Agree! These cold casers are a special breed. They have a kind of tenacity most people cannot even picture in their wildest imagination. Law enforcement types who do successful Cold Case work also think unconventionally. They review the same facts dozens of eyes have seen, and see new angles and new ways of mining info. If the bots at the WH didn't fear them to begin w, they have since altered their thinking. Zullo has sunk his teeth in and isn't letting go. Obama lacks the intellectual capacity to fully assess his jeopardy, but I bet Axelrod is sweating bullets.

Your whole post summarizes much of what I think is the true story here.

Stanley Ann's whole life was UNCONVENTIONAL IN THE EXTREME for the times she lived in.

Think of it this way, if there was anyone who ever would have gone to Africa while being pregnant, it would be someone like Stanley Ann.

She married an Indonesian and took her small child to live in a very hostile environment for gosh sakes.

For the average person, both would be a stretch or unthinkable, but for Stanley Ann (as her history shows) it could be considered reasonable or a strong possibility under the circumstances.

She became an economic anthropologist. Can you think of anyone who has an interest in any type of anthropology that isn't interested in a places like the African continent?

Financing was also not a deal breaker, since Grandma knew her way around a dollar bill.

Stanley Ann should stop being compared to what typical girls her age would have or would not have done. She was not typical in the least nor were the circumstances that surrounded her typical in the least.

Excellent points. Plus, there was almost certainly some stick-it-to-Dad stuff going on. He named her Stanley because he wanted a son—and her mother went along w this cruel move. What kind of father saddles his daughter with such a double whammy? First you say, ‘I didn't want you at all; I wanted a boy’. Then you say, ‘Your punishment is going through life w a man's name’.

That is very cold and hurtful. Plus I read somewhere that they tangled in sharp verbal spats. Add it all up, and there's ample reason to believe she'd have gone anywhere to (1) escape the old goat, and (2) defy him. Getting knocked up by a Kenyan and following him home would make sense for a girl w such a justifiable grudge against her father. Dumping the boy on Dad fits that profile too. ‘Hey Dad—so you always wanted a son. Here you go—take him and keep him’.

This was a whole family of very screwed up people. Stanley engaged a homosexual female impersonator as a nanny for her young son, for crying out loud. All of which is to say, your analysis is on the money.

For some reason, I don’t necessarily think that the Kenyan is the father. He could be, but the fact that Obama doesn’t look anything like him or couldn’t inherit anything after he died makes me think that’s because Obama Sr. was just a willing “stand-in.”. Someone looking for an advantage/money/green card by “marrying” Stanley Ann.

I just think the “being born in Kenya” scale is past the tipping point.

I have leaned in the direction of Obama Sr-is-not-the-father for a very long time too. As you say, there’s just no physical resemblance. I shifted back, though, when I finally became 99.9% convinced BHO was born in Kenya. Why would SAD go there if not to follow Obama Sr? I suppose if she was pregnant, and he told her he was rich and would give her a great home, she would have fallen for it. [Obama Sr lied as much as BHO; what a pathetic pair.] I’m just not clear why she would make such a major move for a man whose child she wasn’t carrying...though anything is possible.

With such a cast of kooky characters, a couple of scenarios play out in my mind but I just can’t seem to settle on one.

Two ideas to contemplate. One, I've never seen Obama Sr’s father. Looks and other attributes are known to sometimes skip a generation, and possibly BHO looks more like grandfather than like Dad. Second, BHO looks A LOT like grandpa Stanley. So maybe he got his physical attributes from the Dunham half of his genes. Fwiw.

Here's something else to think about. I knew a Malignant Narcissist was was scarily, eerily, SPOOKILY like BHO. He had an abusive father who died when the MN was 15. Thereafter the MN put his Dad on the highest pedestal known to man and all but worshiped him.

Now pedestals don't get much higher than having a person's autobiographical book dedicated to you. BHO dedicated his book to Obama Sr. This can only mean he at least believes Obama is his Dad.

Now, it's clear from a number of things Obama has said and done that he knows the truth. I.e.: he knows he was born in Kenya and he knows his real B-Day. [It's clear from things Michelle has said that she knows the truth too. She called Kenya her husband's “home country”, etc.]

Why would his mother, or whoever, tell him these two items but lie about his Dad? It could be he was lied to about his paternity, but my sense is that he was told the truth. This is one of the things that screwed him up so horribly: knowing that his father abandoned him and didn't give a passing thought to him thereafter.

Anyway, those are some thoughts, and who knows what the truth is. We will find out. It's clearer now than ever—we WILL find out.

One other thing I just read on American Thinker. Obama said in Dreams that he sometimes smoked pot on the beach w “a couple of Hawaiians”.

Think about that. Is that how you talk about people you are one of? I was born in FL. I would never, EVER, say, ‘Sometimes I went riding on the beach w a couple of Floridians’. Huh??? That would make it a dividing line: i.e.: there was me, a non-Floridian, and them, a couple of Floridians. It just doesn't work that way if you are one of them.

Obama has told us in so very many ways he's not a native-Hawaiian. There will be a lot of people kicking themselves in the butt for their own cluelessness, when the whole truth finally surfaces.

Can you imagine going to bed each evening wondering if the next time you wake up will be the day the gig is up? Once Arpaio and his Cold Case Posse started investigating, I believe the countdown to the end of the fraud began in earnest. The tics and tocs are getting louder, not quieter.

That's the problem with lies: they tend to catch up with you eventually.

I’d like to add to that the point that it is highly unlikely that BO had an American father at all (not even a notorious one): not Frank Marshall Davis, not Malcolm (Little) X, not Paul Robeson, or anyone else deemed a communist/radical/enemy of the state. I’m basing this on the idea that the modern American electorate would neither know nor care about these people (with the exception of Malcolm X) and thus having any one of them as a father would not be seen as a political liability for BO — he’d be forgiven for it.

No, the truth about BO’s birth is far worse.

Those are some excellent points. Zullo and his posse play hardball. Obama has never faced this kind of scrutiny. When he actually allows himself to think about it, he probably freaks. I'm guessing he doesn't spend a lot of time preoccupied w it, though. His response to worry appears to be a bigger dose of his self-medication of choice. Alcohol being the likely primary choice, with some type of antidepressent picking up the slack. Axelrod is probably the party primarily tasked w damage control. It blows to be him, right about now.

You too make great points. Yes, the American fathers you mentioned would buy Obama valuable cred w some voters while not hurting him w others. He would not have hesitated to claim them. Claiming an anti-American rabidly-Marxist alcoholic Kenyan as a father wasn't a political calculation; it's almost certainly the truth. BHO has his Dad's work ethic and relationship to the truth: i.e.: no work ethic and a bent for pathological lying. He shares his anti-Americanism and hatred of capitalism too.
