In the past FR was more of a mainstream conservative/Republican site that could draw on a wide audience, now it seems to cater more to the fringe. Dunno if that is just because there is more choices out there these days, or if it is because this was officially an anti-Romney site for awhile.
These folks that still believe Romney can be stopped at the convention are simply not living in the real world. They've stepped off into some fantasy universe of their own making where conservatives are going to march with pitchforks on Tampa and order the RNC to change the rules and nominate a candidate they prefer (Palin seems to be the favorite option for these people). Ofcourse none of this is going to happen, but they refuse to give up the fantasy. It's actually sad to see, but there are dead-enders like this every election cycle. Some of them will know better next time, only to replaced with a new bunch of people unwilling to face political realities
