A TSA agent grabbed the genitals of Texas Republican Congressman Canseco at a San Antonio Airport. The Congressman reacted instinctively to protect his private parts and the Congressman pushed down the hand of the TSA agent. Now the TSA agent is crying and saying the Congressman assaulted him. Are you serious? Is this even America? No charges were filed but the TSA agent should be the one getting charged for assault. Touching someone's genitals does NOTHING to keep airlines secure. There is a limit to what should be given up in order to be safe and these pat downs go too far.
These searches and even the porno body scanners do not protect us anymore than regular metal detectors. These measures only help keep nuisance items off of airlines and it comes at much to high a price. These scanners have had guns go through them undetected for crying out loud. Random pat searches are not even effective. Why did the TSA grab the crotch of this war veteran with shrapnel in his leg? This man fought for your rights and you want to touch his junk in return? And what is the purpose of tormenting this little 4 year old girl and touching her private parts? None of this will stop a terrorist. If someone wants to blow up a plane they are going to do it no matter how many genitals the TSA agents grab. The terrorist will just find a way around it. The terrorist will likely start using TSA agents as part of their plans. Just this week, TSA agents in Los Angeles were charged with engaging in drug trafficking by allowing drugs to pass through the security checkpoints. Every week it seems like a different TSA agent is getting charged with something. You don't think a terrorist will eventually find a TSA agent who will go along with the sinister plot for the right price? It is only a matter of time.
We need a House and Senate with the backbone to end these pointless attacks on our dignity. Texas tried to stand up against this once. State Representative David Simpson introduced a bill to make touching someone's crotch a crime. That bill was killed after our Democrat Supporting Texas Speaker of the House Joe Straus killed the bill and said it was a publicity stunt. Not everyone can afford riding in a private Jet like you Joe Straus. It is time to stop being scared and time to stop playing politics. We need representatives who will be bold and stand against this unconstitutional intrusion.
Pretty soon America will start to have Hunger Games. The government will protect and feed us as long as every year each state offers up a tribute to battle to the death....
TSA has nothing to do with security. And that is intentional, IMO.
This is all about intimidation of innocent US citizens. With the goal of further down the line including more draconian surveillance and intimidation. National ID papers, checkpoints in public areas, and such.
TSA is now going after people entering commuter trains. Only a fool would think it’s not going to continue to escalate.
Their goal is to eliminate the right of free movement about our own country.
A punch in the mouth sends a stronger message than a slap on the hand.
If the TSA won’t properly train their employees, then the traveling public must.
Two things I can think of which might actually work, i.e. either everybody flies naked or everybody flies armed...
The TSA is rapidly becoming our Gestapo.
Now they’re conducting surveillance within the country. Actually, I can and have stopped flying because of the humiliation I refuse to endure by them. However, I am experiencing a vast schadenfreude when Congress-critters, who pretty much have to fly, are getting the treatment when it was they who authorized the TSA thuggery in the first place.
President Obama said that “the war on terrorism” is over, so bring the Military home and End the TSA.
It’s amazingly easy to break a wrist if you know the proper technique.
The TSA is becoming a joke.

Almost “struck with violent intent” a “security” agent in kuwait over a similar situation. Wasn’t expecting the grope, and almost let fly......
Good thing the “strike” didn’t, that would have been a bunch of time with some very antagonistic and unsavory folk....
Can empathize with the Texas congresscritter though.
When I get on an airplane I feel like a sardine.
I’m in an enclosed tube exchanging air with people from all over the world who carry all kinds of germs.
I sit in a seat that hasn’t been cleaned since forever knowing people have sat in it before me who don’t clean themselves properly.
I must put my head against a headrest that has been touched by people with all kinds of diseases.
I’m served a drink by a person who has been touching people for the last eight hours and I doubt many of them have washed their hands.
And to even get on this germ infested piece of crap I have to subject myself to groping and humiliation and have to kiss some ebonic speaking democrat’s ass?
I FLY NO MORE!

I was coming home from Arkansas about 6 mnths ago when a lady boarded and sat by me. She didn’t touch a thing and proceeded to pull out 2 trashbags, one to put her carryon in and the other for her purse. After everyone had boarded she took some disinfectant towelettes out of her purse, stood up and wiped down the whole seat. She apologized to me and I laughed and said.....doesn’t bother me.
You should have seen the looks she got though. lol
Well there are even people on the FR who are so ignorant of the constitution they will tell you we have no right to fly and no reason to expect the 4th Amendment to be enforced. Ah the public schools have done a wonderful job....for communism.
Terry, you are spot on. After flying an average of 120+ flights per year for over 26 years and having constant colds/coughs it is amazing, now that I no longer fly, I have gone 3 years without a single cold.
The TSA is a an army in-waiting. An enemy army.
They are being conditioned to despise ‘civilians’.
No sympathy for any of them who befall an accident or fatal disease.
They are Zombie-Traitors.
That is why I avoid the molestation station. I’m not a cooperative victim.

I would fear my ITALIAN wife more, if she saw the wrong shade of lipstick on my clothes, than the baddest-ass TSA agent including Nappy!
