Heck, the worst thing to happen to the Palestinians is their permanent refugee status. That is a product of policies of the surrounding Arab nations which are not willing to allow them citizenship so they can remain a propaganda tool.

I’d like to feel sympathy, but I’m not even sure the writer is who he/she claims. In what concentration camp did the writer survive? In what attic did the writer hide. From where in Europe did the writere originate? There are no details. We’re merely told that the writer survived the Holocaust, as if it were some monolithic event, rather than a particular individual experience. I’ve known at least one faker before, and my suspicions are up. Furthermore, the arguments made are too unfactual and illogical to even follow in the excerpt posted. During the Munich massacre and the Achilles Lauro hijacking, there was indeed an “occupation”. It started in 1967, predating all the events cited in the article. I consider it a liberation of lands stolen by the Muftists and Jordan in 1933-6 and 1948, and not an “occupation,” but that’s beside the point. I strongly suspect that this “survivor” is an imposter, making straw man arguments for a left winger or Pali sympathizer to later knock down. The essential point (when there is no longer an occupation, what will their excuse be then?) could have been made better by simply getting the facts straight, which the writer conspicuously failed to do.
Time and time again the Jewish community supports politicians who support the anti Israel agenda. Frankly, I'm getting tired of stories that are seemingly directed at me, as if I can do something about the self destructive path Jewish Americans seem to have chosen. By all appearances they are still supporters of Obama.

Just read the whole thing. My first impression has been reenforced. This is all straw man argument. I can see how the leftos would tear this apart, and I believe it’s a setup for just that sort of treatment.
