Romney vs Obama: One Critical Difference We Can't Ignore
Me ^ | 4-17-2012 | Me

Posted on 04/17/2012 12:52:07 AM PDT by Bronco_Buster_FweetHyagh

I am beyond disappointed that the RINO Republican establishment has saddled us once again with a scum sucking moderate. Jim Robinson has expressed his non-support of mitt Romney in no uncertain terms. I wholeheartedly agree with his disgust.

The reason that the establishment wants Romney as opposed to a true conservative is status quo. The Republican establishment is just as guilty as mainstream Democrats. They are making money off a system that is fundamentally broken. Their only concern is who is steering a sinking ship.

However, there is one critical difference between Romney and Obama. It is a difference we cannot ignore. Barack Obama hates the united states of America. Barack Obama believes that the USA needs to be taken down a notch. Barack Obama apologizes for our history. Barack Obama believes that the core foundation of our country is rotten. Barack Obama believes that the "so-called founding fathers" we're Evil and to blame.

The Republican establishment may well have saddled us with the one piece of crap candidate who can actually lose to Barack Obama. I can't stomach the idea of voting for a left of center RINO like Mitt Romney.

However, mitt Romney does not hate America. There is no more pressing danger and threat to our country than Barack Obama in the hard-core socialist communist left wing.

I did not want George Bush. I did not want John McCain. I do not want mitt Romney. I am sick of the Republican establishment counting on me to vote for their mainstream moderate candidates simply because they know I will not abandon ship. In essence, they take true conservatives for granted.

We should not take our ball and go home just because we are not winning this time. There will be no third-party candidate. A vote for anyone other than that Romney come election time will be a vote for Barack Obama. I don't care how much I dislike Mitt Romney. And nothing anyone here can say can make something positively untrue true. Barack Obama and Romney are not the same. The one critical difference is that Barack Obama hates this country and secretly or not so secretly wishes to destroy this country and change its future for the worse.

We got stuck with Bill Clinton because of disillusioned conservatives who voted for Ross Perot. Surely we are smart enough people to learn from the past.

The enigma:
How can I vote FOR Romney?
How can I not vote AGAINST Obama?

I pray for an answer from God. He may answer through a FRiend, so help me if you can.

I think Romney may be marginally better than Obama because he may not despise our country. Frankly, I don't think Romney cares about anything but himself. Obama obviously despises the USA.

But, a Republican Congress would oppose Obama's liberal destruction; how would they treat Romney's destruction?

No way. The Democrat party in no way, shape or form reflects my principles nor would I support any present day Democrat president, particularly Comrade Obama.

In a democracy (or in a republican government), the majority prevails but there should always be room for the loyal opposition.

Basically what I am saying we must play with the cards we are dealt. It might be characterized as choosing between the lesser of two evils, but the alternative is totally surrender. If the lesser of two evils wins at least we buy time and slow the headlong ruch into socialism. Consider how many laws are enacted each and how many laws are repealed. Look at the problems Greece and Spain are encountering in their attempts to rein in government spending.

I believe there will be dramatic twists and turns not only in the GOP nomination battle but in the general election as well.

This may well be the most bizarre election ever in the USA.

We have heard this before. I’ve said the same thing before. Remember Ross Perot? Conservatives abandoned George Bush Sr. in favor of Ross Perot. Result? Bill Clinton. Yeah - we really showed them. Not a truly conservative nominee since then.

Nope, not buying that one. Ross Perot has nothing to do with this conversation.

There isn`t any way I`m voting for Romney. He`s a liberal dressed in moderate clothing. And how do we know he doesn`t hate the USA? Liberals by their nature are anti-American.

The Constitution Party nominee gets my vote this time around. People can prattle on about wasted votes, etc., but my party`s nominee has no less a chance of beating Obama than Romney does. Obama could stomp squealing, cowering, three-week-old puppies to death on live national TV one week before the “election,” but it changes nothing... he still wins in a walk. Mitt Romney is not going to be elected President.. not in November.. not ever.

Yes, a second Obama term will be hell on earth for America, but it has a nice silver lining: We`ll have seen the last of Mitt Romney and his toxic brand of smear politics.

Glenn Beck: “Mitt Romney is my guy because he`s not a..communist.”

And this is where we are just 23 years after the departure of President Reagan. We`re pushed to vote for someone because they`re “not a communist.”

It does indeed show how far America has fallen, doesn`t it? Notice how no one really steps up and says “I want Mitt Romney to be my commander-in-chief!” No.. instead it`s all about who Romney ISN`T.

And that isn`t going to get it done in November. The GOP E types knew that all along. To them, the goal was surrendering the presidential race and hoping for the best down-ticket.

The Republican Presidential primary was rigged from the beginning. They wanted us to think it was a fair and honest process. Good intentioned people donated campaign money to the GOP Republican party machine without much thought on where the money went, or how it was spent.

Romney didn’t win the primaries fair-and-square as the political pundits would have you believe. In many states, the GOP launched a lot of RNC contribution money (10:1) against conservative candidates disguised as Super PACs. This was never a fair fight! A lot of individual contributors to the RNC should be very upset with how their money was spent.

I believe as a people we believe in elections, and many are awaiting the results of 2012. If Obama wins, he will most certainly provoke a civil war and/or economic collapse.

Romney wants to get elected, and stay in office for a second term, so he won’t have the stomach to rein in entitlement spending that would otherwise cost him votes. Either way, we are on a fast train, or a slow train, set on the same tracks that lead off a cliff! When the ultimate collapse happens, not if, but when...we need to step in and grab state sovereignty back. This is essentially what happened with the former Soviet Union.

Unfortunately the damage Obama would inflict on our country will effectively be irreversible. Can you name one law that has been repealed in the last two years? So you are willing to permanently subject your children to the slavery of socialism. Will you look in a mirror and say ‘I was in part responsible for the misery we are now experiencing’ before denoucing Obama. As conservatives are rightly fond in reminding us that our actions have consequences, will you take responsiblity for giving Obama another four years to wreak havoc on this country. Your victory will be pyrrhic.

Skr - exactly.

For all the take-your-ball-home armchair pundits, ask yourselves that. Do you really truly believe that the average soldier, putting their life on the line daily, believes there is no difference between Obama and Romney?

Your comments seem to parrot the liberal mantra of society is at fault and therefore the individual is not responsible for his unwise actions, to wit those contributing to the GOP were taken in by the con artist establishment. I may be unique is that I cannot ever recall being taken in by political commercials or telephone calls or mailings. If I make an error in judgement, I take full responsiblity for that error.

If we can get this rino elected and I stress if, then we should work for a third party. Is the Constitution Party the answer?

No, it's not the answer. Taking over the Republican Party is the far easier thing to do. How do I know? Look what leftists have done to the Democrat Party. There are all sorts of leftist third parties that never have and never will have any political traction at all. All the "well, if we all do it" or "the true heart and soul of the Republican Party are conservatives and of course they'll all leave for the Constitution Party, leaving the Republican Party powerless" talk is...talk. If we had some bread we could have a roast beef sandwich, if we had some roast beef. Taking over the Republican Party does one important thing that starting a third party cannot do: it will get rid of a vote splitter that otherwise would be left intact by attempting to start a third party. WE DO NOT HAVE A PARLIAMENT WITH PROPORTIONAL REPRESENTATION FOR LOSERS! Saying, "Well, I voted for the right party, even though I knew we couldn't possibly win" is nothing but moral masturbation.

If Obama win Obama will get at least 2 probable 3 MORE Supreme Court picks... the Supreme Court will be goofy-left for the rest of our lives.

When you go to the polls this November, please remember that you are not only voting for president. You will also be voting to replace current Senators and House representatives. This is where the power lies. These are the people who control our money, not the president. If we can get rid of enough of those Socialist Democrats and tired old RINO’s who have helped to enable Obama, then we just might have a chance of saving the Republic. You can’t afford to stay home on election day, no matter how much you dislike Romney.

The last part of your post is true no matter the name, Obama or Romney, in the first part of your post. Now, Romney would do it differently than Obama, likely by giving us Casper Milquetoast justices in the pattern of Bush 41 with David Souter. Obama would remain in the “wise Latina” mode, picking justices to divide us rather than bring us together.
