This is a good time for middle-class black parents to tell their kids that looking anything like an urban thug is an unsafe thing to do. Trust me, we've been telling our kids that for a long, long time already. Fortunately for my wife and I, we've never lost our kids' hearts and minds to the degraded liberal culture. Home schooling and religion has been key to that.
