As I was telling Nan, the shooting will probably start before anyone thinks to adopt uniforms. That'll create a whole lot of collateral damage, and guys like me won't be the only ones taking friendly fire.

Parents and people of integrity, from all backgrounds need to start speaking with one another and most of all - LISTENING. There are millions of us - in stores, churches, on buses, trains, planes and waiting rooms - stop and start a conversation.

This is a good time for middle-class black parents to tell their kids that looking anything like an urban thug is an unsafe thing to do.
Much like how, after I got my CCW, I got rid of all t-shirts like my "Kill them all and let God sort them out" shirt. You DON'T want to be involved in a defensive shooting and having jurors see that in your booking photo, or even having acquaintances report to investigators that you would dress like that.
