Rick Santorum's got a message for Reporters that like to Distort the Truth. I think this message can also be for those FReepers that like to bash Rick whenever and whereever.

Then why doesn’t Santorum say “53% of the country has a very sick mind”.
Why does he limit his comments to Zimmerman?
“Pick any other Republican in the country...He is the WORST Republican in the country to put up against Barack Obama.”
I’m not sure why he doesn’t want to stand with this statement. Most Republicans happen to agree with him when he says this. Why should he get angry about it?
No, its not pot meet kettle.
Santorum was responding to the version that was the offered to him at the time. Unless there is probable cause to believe that oneself or the public is in imminent danger of death or serious bodily injury, the use of deadly force to take the life of a non-threatening unarmed individual (which was the known record at the time) is against the law. Santorum was posed a question about the state of facts at the time. Since then we have had the facts in a state of flux. So don’t try bringing Zimmerman into this. It’s utterly and completely irrelevant.
What’s your thing with Zimmerman? That whole story is a media fabrication to turn attention away from Obummers failures. I don’t care what opinion anyone has on that local matter. It is irrelevant. It isn’t like we don’t have any real issues to discuss in this country.
No, this needs to happen more often and using harsh words. As a former liberal I can tell you that liberals trade on being able to kow conservatives by trading on our civility. BS to that. Confront them with the truth(and a good verbal left-hook) they back off and soon realize they’ve been exposed.
Zimmerman's pursuit of a drug-addled Trayvon incurred the risk that the kid would think of him as an attacker. Certainly Zimmerman had the right to defend his life, but he did exercise a judgement very possibly based upon race that shouldn't have put him in that position. So if it was the bases of Zimmerman's choice to pursue that Santorum was talking about, it would not be a slander. In any event, he should not have commented at all, holding that it was a matter for local law enforcement.
I am glad Santorum called the reporter out as a liar. Whether or not he wins the nomination I hope Santorum does it a lot more often .
This is a video of man snapping; almost at the breaking point. He seems to have lost some control lately. An ordinary man snapping like this is understandable, but to me very worriesome in a presidential candidate. I was impressed the first 10 seconds and he should have stopped there. But then Rick keeps at it; starring at the reporter as he continues down the line signing autographs and keeps repeating himself, shaking his head and staring back at the reporter. A bit freaky.
Santorum should take lessons from Newt Gingrich on how to respond to media, and be in full control of oneself. His attitude has been vulgar and unpresidential. If he cannot control his temper, he should get the h..l out of the kitchen.
Once again, Senator Santorum said about three sentences too many. I don’t like profanity. I especially don’t like presidential candidates who know they are speaking ON CAMERA using profanity.
I remember reading once about how upset Nixon was when the tapes were broadcast. Because his mother was going to hear him swearing profusely. Santorum’s daughter looks embarrassed by his behavior. If you watch the tape, she’s smiling until he says the swear word.
One other thing-—this is red meat to the lamestream media. Now that they know how easy it is to get a candidate to lash out, they’ll be like grade school bullies taunting the weak kid.
... should just read your many other posts against him...and they will see this is par for your course.
Nothing he can say....or not say ....will please you, so stop acting so surprised.
Actually, I am surprised at the Senator’s language. especially in front of his daughter. Whether I like him or not is irrelevant.
Thank you for helping prove my point.
Given the real issues we face, why did Santorum allow himself to get distracted by this, uttering the definitive comment he did, rather than something like "I don't believe we have all the facts; as such, I'll be witholding comment"?
Given the real issues we face, why did he allow himself to get dragged into the birth control issue?
You should ask the Religion Moderator to move this to the Religion forum and make this a Santorum Caucus thread.
yeah.....sure you are~
I looooove it!!!!
Right, we’re “surprised”. What a bunch of whimps we’ve become. We cwy becaws Wick said somfing scawy.
Snap out of it, America !
When I hear bill ayers apologize for blowing stuff up I’ll .... well, I’ll move that we arrest and convict his sorry a$$ and throw it in jail.
Santorum is one of the few candidates to answer all the questions asked of him. What is the point of an interview if someone is going to mealy mouth around like Milt and answer nothing? I like knowing where a guy is no matter if I agree or disagree. In this case, I just didn’t care what the answer was. At least he answered straight up. Newt also has a habit of answering all questions no matter what they are.
He played their silly game on birth control and the next month was nonstop SANTORUM HATES WOMEN SANTORUM HATES WOMEN SANTORUM’S GOING TO TAKE AWAY YOUR BIRTH CONTROL PILLS SANTORUM’S GOING TO OUTLAW ABORTION SANTORUM HATES WOMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nothing about the price of oil, or the imminent bankruptcy of the country, or the Iranian nuke program.
At least you know his position on birth control.
“Newt does it too” is not a valid response.
Blah blah blah. Rick is winning states even though the MSM is spinning him. Who cares. No one give a rats what the Obama MSM has to say anymore. It is irrelevant much like much your weird Zimmerman concern.
Rick obviously pays close attention to what the Obama MSM says; otherwise he wouldn’t have made that specious Zimmerman comment.
