Not sure what you mean?
Do you now?
Yeah, haole is derogatory, malihini is a similar word but not so much.
I’m still not sure what you mean about the race card; sometimes I think I have a touch of Aspberger’s. Seriously. I don’t get what seems obvious to others sometimes, especially jokes or innuendo.
Okay, now I think I get it.
So mentioning that Malihi is Iranian is playing the race card to the fogbounders?
My neighbors in Plano were Iranian-Americans and they were wonderful people whose kids played with my kids at both houses. Their son was an honors graduate at UT, IIRC. While it was not uncommon to see Muslim women with only their faces showing, the wife in this family would wear shorts and worked for the City of Plano.
Read the whole link that FARS posted. If Judge Malihi, for instance, has relatives in Iran, they could have been threatened. There are more thoughts too, well worth reading the link.
If you want to create an instance where you have the opportunity to play the race card you first have to hang out bait. That bait arouses somebody's interest.
That there name, Bubba Joe, sounds a lot like a country hick's name. He might even be from the old South. (the bait)
Somebody looks into it and, by God, since it's so easy to find out, the person finds out that Bubba Joe really is from Texas. Then, out of old rivalries or a personal dislike against Texans in general, the person who found out that the person in question really was from Texas goes into a hate filled rant down at the barber shop for everybody to hear and it becomes the talk of the town. (swallows the bait)
This then gives the person hanging out the bait, who just happened to be hanging out at the barber shop, the much needed opportunity to say...SEE! SEE! Those guys at the barber shop are nothing but a bunch of bigoted jerks! They don't even like Texans. (sets the hook and reels in a big one)
If you don't get any bites, much less a nibble, your bait was no good or the fish were too smart to take the bait. As a last resort you go to the taxidermist and buy a stuffed fish to hang on your wall just so you have something to show.
Now do you get it? It works in reverse as well.
Only if somebody is ranting about it down at the barber shop.
Otherwise it's just a stuffed fish they had to pay for themselves.
Got to run. I’ll be back L8R.
If I were the Iranian Al Quds and had the Malihi family hostage in Iran (they are more likely Iranian Jews, IMO) I would have blackmailed Malihi to declare Obama INELIGIBLE as that would do the most to throw the US into a state of pandemonium!
Thanks for the Ping! Working my way through the thread now. . .
I think the opposite to be true - the Iranian regime would want 0h0m0 to remain as president since he is an enemy of Israel and a friend of all radical Islamist governments, even helping to get more moderate ones overthrown and replaced by radicals as in Egypt.
.
You’re welcome, Flotsam_Jetsome.

Malihi is an Iranian? PING
Well now we know why the case went down the tubes so fast.
And if Jablonski didn't then why was it used by the court?
Here’s why Ankney is bad law. It claims that Minor v. Happersett left open a question as to whether other classes of persons can be natural-born citizens (other than those born in the country to citizen parents). It answers the question by citing another decision that went much further in leaving open the question of whether anyone other than children of citizen parents could be natural-born citizens, and Ankeny admits this by footnoting the fact that Wong Kim Ark was not declared to be a natural-born citizen. It also ignores that in the Minor case, the court’s decision would have made Virginia Minor eligible to run for president, but the Wong Kim Ark was not ... and the Ankeny court admits it. As the Minor decision points out, “Our province is to decide what the law is, not to declare what it should be.” Ankeny overstepped its province.
Thanks for the ping!
I must have missed the chapter whereby Indonesian laws stripped the native born citizenship of an American minor.
Which one of the 535 CONcritters have you heard open their mouths defending the Constitution’d NBC requirements???
