Komen is supposedly about fighting cancer and saving lives not killing innocent babies. That is their image but its all a pack of lies. Komen will back down and find an excuse, I think thats obvious.
Thanks for this post. I just sent a thank you email to the addy in the article.
I was in a dollar store a few weeks ago, and took a walk down two aisles of grocery. Lots of name brand items, a surprising amount bearing the Komen ribbon.
The dollar stores buy up dated packaging. For example, Olympic-ringed packaging, three months after the Olympics.
Guess that pink ribbon stuff hasn’t been flying off store shelves.
They are doing the right thing! If they cave to pressure from the left, well then we will know what the are and what they stand for - money!
Thanks for the update, I sent an email.
It's actually becoming a year-round thing; not just in October. However, my wife, a breast cancer survivor, refuses to support or acknowledge a foundation that supports Planned Parenthood Infanticide.
Despite all the yapping from the pro-aborts, I doubt Komen would have cut the ties to PP if they weren’t be hurt in the pocketbook.
Well maybe, but then again maybe people should now show them support for doing the right thing.
As did I. Mother and sister are both breast cancer survivors, but I could not donate to Komen until now.
I would never give them a penny if I were richer than Bill Gates
don’t be fooled by this, they haven’t changed
Thanks for the email number. Operation completed.
When I give my money to a charity, I want it to stay with the charity and “do” the mission of the charity. One charity should not give to another, it is deceptive to contributors.
...I also am glad Komen stopped funding PP.
I just sent $10 to the Komen Foundation by texting “KOMEN” to 90999. First time to donate to this organization.
Guys, we need to encourage Komen for doing the right thing.
Let's not be all suspicious and as a result let the bad guys overwhelm them. Give them some support, and then put your money where your mouth (or keyboard) is.
I've already joined the Pink Whistle Society.
My Mom is a survivor. We went to the walk one year, but after that, we found out they supported Planned Parenthood. We haven’t supported them since, and that was 11 years ago. This is truly wonderful news. Money raised for breast cancer reasearch should not go to kill babies.
If these people want to support abortion, let them do it themselves. They have no right to coerce other people into doing it for them. We’re approaching mob rule in this country.
You may want to hold off a bit and watch Komen carefully. They used the fact that PP is "under investigation" to cut their ties; when the investigation ends we'll see how things really stand.
The end of the article addresses this question of whether it’s a real change.
I think it’s a good time to send them an email at least.
