Romney would repeal only "parts of" Obamacare.

I heard Romney on Hannity the other day and he DID NOT SAY he would repeal ObamaCare - he specifically said "repeal the more onerous parts of it"

I think even Hannity missed that commend

Glad you posted this. I heard it too. He said he’d grant every state waivers — or waivers to someone, that wanted them ....which means, we won’t “force” states to participate. Yes, Hannity let it slip by.

(....we’ll just wait until you have no choice but to go with it later, because WE aren’t going to repeal it!!!)

Newt!!! Hammer this! Someone needs to!

There are two smart, Conservative ideas in healthcare reform, and we have demonized both of them. The first is the individual mandate, which is to say that you should must take responsibility for your own coverage and not throw yourself on the state when you get sick. The second is what has been caricatured as the Death Panel, but is in fact a living will, a rational discussion of what measures you as an individual would like to see taken, balancing the possibility of preserving your life against the quality of that life at a very advanced age.

On Hannity last night he said he would grant waivers to all 50 states implying the rest of Obamacare stays. If that’s for individual mandates, how’s he going to pay for the rest of the monster bill.

I think he genuinely slipped the other day when he said he could trim waste from military and pay for Obamacare.

I like Newt. He doesn't mince words.

"I will ask the Congress to repeal ObamaCare and then I will sign the bill."

Not a whole lot of wiggle room there.

I think our only real chance of a total repeal was driven out of the race with Michele Bachmann.

Its not within the power of the executive branch to repeal Obamacare, its something that must be done in Congress. See Michele Bachmann for more information.

I told my wife last night that I am about finished with the Republican Party. They used to be conservative, but now, they are the lapdogs of the RAT Party. As long as the RATS invite them to all of the "better" Georgetown Cocktail Parties, the Repubilcan Elites are more than willing to sell us minions down the river.

I firmly believe that the RAT Party is now the Extreme Left-wing Socialist Party, the GOP is now what used to be the Democrat Party, and there is need for a home for those of us who are conservative and wish to restore our Representative Republic as established by the Founding Fathers. And no, Ron Paul and the libertarians are not that home!

The GOP Elites are cramming Mittens down our throat and that will guarantee a second JugEars Term. What will remain after 2016 is anybody's guess, but it won't be what used to be the USA.

You can’t demonize a demon. Living wills are voluntary. The “independent payment board” (obamacare’s version of NICE)—the real Death Panel— is dictatorial.

NO health care rationing, NO “independent payment board”, NO euthanasia, NO support for abortion!!!!

Repeal obamacare! Dump and prosecute obama, Daschle, Berwick, Sunstein, Sibelius, and all the other Satan-inspired designers of that evil law!!!!

Georgetown Cocktail Parties are boring! Serbian Slavas are wonderful!!!!

Maybe Republicans need to change their whole social (and spiritual) frame of reference. Then they will lose their RAT-ness!

I think even Hannity missed that commend(sic)

I stopped listening or watching Hannity since 2008 when he proclaimed Rudy Giuliani, KING, and the presumptive winner of the primaries early on...

Hannity is right of center...only ‘just’ right of center...and I believe he is more than a little bit stupid.

My Unsolicited $0.02? Dump the entire thing.

There are bits of Health Care that can be improved. For instance, Babble suggested that individuals paying for their insurance, rather than being dumped on the state, is not a bad thing. And I'd agree. But the ultimate goal of ObamaCare, I think, was to dump *Everyone* on the state and eliminate personal choice.

IMHO, if we 1) instituted tort reform with one of the changes being a "loser pays" system 2) Deregulated insurance to make it portable over state lines and 3) instituted immigration reform to remove 10 or 20 million pararsites that are bankrupting health care - particularly emergency Health Care - in some states.....

....Then we're at a good start and can see what else needs to be done after that.

I would prefer to lose w newt, santorum, or paul, than “win” with Romney.

If we thought GWB was bad for the GOP in his second term - Myth, if he won, will truly destroy the GOP.
