This crap is insane.

A small town near me recently put in a city water system due to some kind of contamination and is now suing a few families who refuse to destroy their private wells. The families have offered to cap their wells but the township wants them rendered permanently un usable by being filled with concrete.

So the city wants to to use the power of the courts to force formerly self-sufficient people into being dependent on said city for their drinking water? Another wonderful lever of control in an America that looks ever more like a budding Third World kleptocracy.

...and that is why unregistered, privates wells are a major asset.

Not that there are any on OUR property, you understand.

In the SW, most Americans would be surprised to find out, some of those large rocks have more than rattlesnakes hiding under or behind them.
