Sounds like in order to get the COLB and/or birth/death records from Kapiolani or Wahiawa Hospital he had to show that he had power of attorney for Clara. So if that’s true then even if he filed the case it could be done on behalf of Clara.
I still need to read the whole complaint and I’d like to listen to the interview again. I thought the interview did a good job of bringing out the point that there is no reason for the HDOH to even WANT to keep this record hidden, unless they have something terrible and significant to hide.

Oops. I listened again - this time when I wasn’t rushing around getting dressed for work - and it was 4 hours he waited, from noon until 4pm.
Looks like he had gotten the COLB from the HDOH the week before the interview. The Birther Summit in HI began on Sept 14th so it was early-mid-September when he got the COLB.
