Imho, the “zots” that have transpired over the last few years on this site have lowered the general IQ of FR immensely. There used to be a lively sense of intellectual debate - that's virtually nonexistent now.

Thinly veiled? I've been a Romney supporter in 2008 and now.

I've been a Freeper since 2000. If my extensive posting history isn't conservative, that's news to me. I don't agree that Romney is a RINO, and I think he is by far the most likely candidate to defeat Obama.

I haven't been touting Romney at FR, but I have been carping about the heavy-handed censorship. I don't think that a conservative forum with 'Free' in its title should be proscribing discussion of GOP candidates, especially as to the judgement of whether a candidate is conservative.

I am not going to take orders from anyone as to which candidate I support. If that gets me banned, so be it.
