When asked about this (I implied he had been invited by another atheist), he pointed out that he had seen this thread on reddit/atheism, where you were looked on with concern, as you were getting your ass kicked so hard they could see it all the way from there.

That is a real fail That is not *the days*. Your post implied a organized, concerted effort on the part of Christians to seek out (Or hunt down) and literally murder atheists for the sole *crime* of being atheist. Zot of a troll on FR by the boss ≠ murder.
What I asked was for you to cite THAT, not just the instances of alleged persecution because a troll on FR bought it.
