It's really a simple question.
No, it's not a simple question. It's a childish game of one-upmanship. You have decided that there is no such thing as "nonbelief" which is why you put it in quotes and why you keep challenging me to explain to you what unbelief is, and then saying "I don't like your explanation, give me another."
This does explain why you are religious, though. You looked around at reality and said "I don't like this answer, give me another." And religion gave you another. Now you think that this is the way to handle everything.
