Why I Will Vote for Mitt Romney If He is the GOP Nominee

Because he would be far better for a country that may not be able to survive 4 more years of the Usurper-in-Chief and his merry band of Commusocialists.

Why vote for a Milquetoast Moderate?

And if it should boil down to him and BO, you'd prefer four more years of the Boy King?

I'm in the same boat.

I won't vote for Mitt, under any circumstances.

I'm also tired of the false choice or attempted blame game with your type of comment.

If I choose not to vote for Mitt, it's because I can't because of my principles.

If Obama wins, it's not my fault, but the fault of the GOP for manipulating the process to get a completely flawed candidated nominated.

Blame them, not the principled conservatives that won't be manipulated.

After McLame, I’m done with “realpolitik”. If the GOP elites give us Romney, then the GOP deserves to be condemned to the ash heap of history.

Then I hope you and your principles are very happy with the consequences.

You vote your conscience, and I will vote mine.

It’s a moot point, since Obama will crush Romney like a bug, anyway.

Why vote for a Milquetoast Moderate?

Because at least he can be browbeaten into nominating a conservative Supreme Court justice.
Also, because he will not be actively trying to destroy this Republic.

Look, I despise liberals/moderates at least as much as you; I'm just not willing to commit national suicide if I don't get my way.

I held my nose in 2008 and voted for McCain preferring him to what we got. If Romney is the nominee I will do the same. There is no way he can be as bad or worse for the country than another four years of Obama.

I fear if Obama is re-elected we will not only face economic ruin, but I could easily see him seizing permanent power, ending elections and taking over all the media.

I think he’s ( Mitt? Who names their kid Mitt?) ...

Born Willard Mitt Romney and named after J. Willard Marriott of the hotel chain.

"Mitt" is probably a better name for a boy than "Willard" or "Marriott."

... a pussy and would throw a hissy fit if he didn’t get his own way just like the current “ Brown Clown”.

Er ... okay ... that and three bucks plus tax will get you a tall latte in Starbucks.

OK, this precisely illustrates where you and I part company; show me where I'm wrong and I'll join you:

I believe it's not just the GOP on the ash heap, but the American Experiment.
Am I wrong?

You can't prove that by Mitt's ACTUAL RECORD. He nominated liberals to the bench, instituted the forerunner to ObamaCare, raised taxes, coddled the lib/Dems, supported the AGW hoax, and committed a host of other Commie-Lite transgressions.

The man is a soul-less weasel without a single conviction in his heart. He would go to Washington and continue to be the big government political back-stabber he's always been. He'd actually reverse the hard won gains of the Tea Party rebellion, because the libs would tack every single one of Bozo's failures on him (and us).

Let us not forget that this spineless jellyfish LOST the last primary to Elmer Fudd McNuts - possibly the WORST candidate our side has put up in living memory. And some of us are willing to back Mitt to challenge the guy who beat him?

Insanity...

Well the GOP has proven they are not the bastion of Conservatism, a new movement will rise up from its’ ashes.

If the General Election came down to voting for Barry Soetero or Boo Boo the trained Chimp I would vote for the Chimp. At least I know where the Chimp stands on all of the issues and he will be honest plus he would do a better job doing nothing than Barry has in his four years of wrecking the Country.

People change. People change people. If he’s the nominee, I’ll vote for him in the general. There is nothing admirable about sitting on the sidelines or voting for the enemy. Mitt Romney is a good person. His family is wonderful. I don’t support his bid for the presidency because I support Rick Perry. I couldn’t be budged to support Cain but would have voted for him in the general. I don’t want to think about Gingrich but I’ll vote for him in the general.

My life would be a lot simpler if Perry wins. I would love a Perry/Palin ticket but I don’t think that will happen even if Perry wins.
