However in the real America, it's a clean sweep. As for Romney? Well, the figures show that he's a lot closer to Obama than he is to the man who most assuredly will be our next President.
January 2013 isn't that far away. That's when the restoration of American Exceptionlism begins. I can hardly wait!

And why just compare him to Romney? The choice is not between Newt and Romney; if it were, no one here would be arguing. Once people actually cast a ballot (remember that the primaries haven't even started yet), the field may even out a bit.
Now, there are worse candidates, to be sure. But it still surprises me the degree to which so many conservatives are willing to overlook Newt's entire career because of his TV debate performances.

Gingrich has betrayed conservatives as often as he has betrayed his wives.
