Very shallow thinking.

Russia is the #1 oil producer in the world. More than Saudi Arabia. They pump over 10 million barrels per day, about 11% of the world’s daily supply.

There is no one to replace that. Everyone else is flat out maxed.

If Russia wants behavior changes from ANYONE, all they have to do is close their spigot 1/2. That will double the price of oil (yielding the same revenue for themselves) and global destruction to everyone else.

They have no need to confront NATO. They can just cut off NATO’s fuel supply.

I apologize for answering only now. I am not sure how it happened that I did not notice your comment.
I was thinking that positioning of Russian forces around that area may look like preparations for the final battle. By the positioning I mean extending “agreeement with Ukraine” to stay that is to reinforce and rebuild the Russian naval base. It is also interesting that Russians are in Tartu, I think it won’t be mistake if we say that Russian army also has its presence in Syria. So yes I believe that one can interpret this events as a preparations for the biblical scenario. I have to admit that I am not an expert but rather student of biblical prophecy. All the best to you and happy Thanksgiving. b

Also Happy Thanksgiving to everyone on this page. b

I was thinking that positioning of the Russian forces around that area may look like preparations for the final battle. By the positioning I mean prolonging of “the agreeement with Ukraine” to keep military presence there. That is, in fact, to reinforce and rebuild the Russian naval base in Sevastopol. It is also interesting that Russians are in Tartu. I think it won’t be mistake if we say that the Russian army also has its presence in Syria. So yes I believe that one can interpret this events as a preparations for the biblical scenario. I have to admit that I am not an expert but rather student of biblical prophecy.
