Should the GOP actually nominate Newt Gingrich, I, a non big “R” Republican will be first in line in the General Election to cast my ballot “for” him. I have not had the joy of voting “for”, only “against” for many election cycles. Despite his personal foibles he is the only candidate with the gravitas to actually lead this republic at this time, IMO.
I agree- they ALL have "baggage". I prefer to support the most intelligent and experienced choice, Newt Leroy Gingrich.

Two very important about reports and threads on Newt and his way of leading, campaigning, voting and his being purportedly a conservative when in fact the opposite is true. He is conservative in name only. He has from the beginning planned to be President., and done what looked good to get there.
