After Governor Rick Perry gave a speech in New Hampshire last week, he should pack his bags and kiss his hopes of winning the White House goodbye. When you are running for President of the United States, the highest office in the land, you do not go up on stage and make a fool out of yourself! Perry must have consumed several martinis or even shots of Captain Morgan. He was clearly buzzed while speaking to supporters in New Hampshire. After the speech, Perry was embracing a bottle of maple syrup the same way he would embrace his dream girl. This bizarre episode makes Rick Perry into a clown who laughs at his own jokes. Rick Perry is no longer considered a serious presidential candidate vying for the Republican nomination. National Spotlight decided to endorse Rick Perry because of his jobs record and conservative values. Since Perry announced his candidacy, it has been all downhill. Perry cannot debate to save his life. Every time Perry attacked Mitt Romney, he lost the battle. Perry failed to explain his position on immigration, social security, and his HPV vaccine program. And the Republican Party expects Perry to beat President Obama in a debate! Not going to happen. Perry has failed to articulate the conservative message and communicate his outstanding jobs record to voters. Furthermore, it took him months to propose his flat tax plan. Perry only did this because Herman Cain's 9-9-9 plan was gaining traction. From the start, Perry was never disciplined and serious about becoming president. Rick Perry is out of control and will continue to be a virus that is slowly destroying his campaign. The Republican field, as it currently stands, is so disappointing and embarrassing. Everyone thought Rick Perry was the guy to take out Mitt Romney. On the other hand, Rick Perry has proven that he is not presidential. Herman Cain's answer to abortion leaves the audience with questions: "Is Herman Cain pro-life or pro-choice?" As someone who is not a politician, he told the truth the first time: he is pro-choice. Now, Herman Cain is in a mess with a sexual harassment scandal. If the accusers are legitimate, then Herman Cain is in major trouble. The rest of the field is not legitimate at all or does not have a chance to win the Republican nomination for President. The Republican Party will most likely nominate the rich elitist governor from the liberal state of Massachusetts: Mitt Romney. Historians will look back and say: what was the Republican Party thinking when they put up a weak field against a weak incumbent President!? National Spotlight has decided to withdraw its support for Rick Perry. His campaign and Rick Perry himself should take a long look at the mirror or its going to be an eternal struggle in the wilderness. Don't get me wrong, Perry still has a shot at the nomination. However, Perry's actions are embarrassing and immoral. Rick Perry is a bad reflection in the mirror for a future President of the United States.
Big effin deal! Who the hell is this pissant ‘National Spotlight”?
Make sure you see the entire 25 minute video here of his NH Cornerstone speech to see how impossible it would be to go from sober to drunk to sober to drunk to sober, insightful, and inspiring, all in five minutes time or so, a speech which received a standing ovation by these evangelical conservatives in New Hampshire.

So Perry's immoral now? You also keyword him as a drunk. Are you going to be like Occupy Wall Street and say that Perry is using Jew magic to alter our DNA?
Anyone watching the video, can see that he was buzzed. Just look at his facial expressions. It is pathetic that the campaign allowed him to get up there and make a fool out of himself
Well, I hope you notified the media of your decision. Because, of course, everyone will care that some dumbass blog that nobody ever heard was even supporting Perry in the first place is no longer supporting him.
So goes ‘National Spotlight’, so goes the guy who writes it and maybe his mom if she’s not too busy to bother reading his tripe.
Oh good grief. Anyone watching the full, original video knows he was just having fun with a crowd he was comfortable with. This is the light-hearted side of him we sometimes see in his Texas speeches (look up some of his speeches at Tea Party events) that hasn’t come out in debates yet.
It's immoral to do a unfunny stand-up comedy routine in front of a Christian organization? Give me a break.
Good luck in your future career and always remember--wisdom is learned and earned.
Pimp my blog.

Oh, and the ‘Herman Cain is pro-choice’ lie really does show the integrity of the author. Cain is a life-long pro-life advocate on the level of Alan Keyes without the antics. He has given millions of his own dollars to pro-life causes and is one of the few out there to have the balls to call abortion a genocide. The pro-choice line is based on a lie the media is telling about an interview where Cain was answering a question about ‘raising’ a child, not about aborting it (he said right before that question that he doesn’t think it should be legal under any circumstance.)
The author of this probably has a Romney agenda by tearing down both Cain and Perry, and both of the charges show this.
Are you guys sick of defending him yet? He cannot articulate the conservative message. He cannot debate. He gives a speech when he is buzzed.
“Big effin deal! Who the hell is this pissant National Spotlight’?”
A blog pimper’s pimp.
The Rick Perry bashers are on my last nerve.
This poster’s home page is the first I’ve seen where a freeper referred to himself in the third person. Tell Derek that’s a sign of megalomania, will you?
I actually thought it was refreshing...Too bad he cannot channel some of that Perry into the debates.
I don’t think he was drunk. From what I understand, no one in the room thought so either.
Romney sure gets around.
What the original instead of the selected slices.
Did you listen to the first interview Cain gave in addressing the abortion issue? He said it is not right for the government to make the decision for the family on whether or not they should have an abortion. Then in interviews after that one, he walked back on it because he knows a Republican cannot win the nomination unless he is pro-life
