In the vein of the “whodunit” mystery... Willard has the best motive to take out Mr. Cain. He also has the most resources to dig up dirt. I really don’t see the other more conservative candidates doing this when they know it may end up strengthening Mittens.

I disagree. Mitt still has to fight whatever conservative is the conservative is the front-runner.

Perry is DEAD unless he kills Cain. His ONLY hope is to get Cain to drop, and re-surge as the pretzel for the gas jets, or whatever. (”I wrote that”).

This feels more like the death-throes of the dying than the calculated effort of a solid co-front-runner.

I’m starting to think that conservative should have a pre-Primary, and run their guy or gal against the GOP RINO candidate, to gain the GOP nomination.
