Alright, I’ll bite. What’s the difference between the October 28th strike and the November 2nd strike other than the date? Is this going to become a weekly non-event?

Whats the difference between the October 28th strike and the November 2nd strike other than the date? I think it's Exhibit 2,381 in how this organized movement is anything but organized, and how they're doomed to failure.

I visited that link at the DUmp and there was also talk about something in May. What, nothing in Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr? What’s to prevent that? Oh, yeah, it’s kinda cold outside in certain parts of the country. I guess revolutions are for the balmy season...

a meaningless display of faux righteousness that in the end means nothing. Are you seriously telling me that buying Granny's medications on the 29th instead of the 28th will make a real difference? . . . It's a stupid idea, to put it bluntly. It won't make a difference, because everyone will lie and say they did it, but in reality they'll just go about their business as they always do. "Herding cats" comes to mind. Those filthy, smelly slobs think that most of the American people are on their inane, risible side?

LOL didn't they "try" this once before. Not One More Dime day or something like that?
And go Nadin!

Charles Henrickson, wondering if Wee Willie Pitt will be occupying himself by visiting his pal Scott "the Inspector" Ritter in prison...Pitt has been too busy to visit Scott since he is spending a lot of time blogging about the importance of the OWS protests despite the fact that he continues to be MIA as far as any of those protests are concerned.

Has anybody noticed that most of the Occupiers have no Occupation?OWS has become a magnet for criminals to score free food as well as laptop computers with their sticky fingers.

In this spirit, many of us seek non-violent ways of demonstrating our repulsion at the vast control these corporations have garnered while infringing on our civil rights as they wage their global destruction on all that is true and fair. DUmmies always sound like 13-year old girls writing in their diaries.

Right. I’ll just tell my landlord that tomorrow is a protest against the evil capitalist system and that’s why I can’t pay anyone. I’m sure he’ll be understanding and let me stay in my apartment anyway purely out of the goodness of his heart. (Do I need a sarcasm tag?)

Charles,
A big FReeper Happy 16th Birthday to your daughter Anna.
And that song parody is one of your best works. I really did lol.
Oh, and DUmmies are batpoop crazy. If this was the 1960's they'd all be locked up in loony bins. So I'm a bit surprised to see some saw through this folly of 'doing nothing' today (10-28).

I guess I don't understand the DUmmies at all. Actually, I think I do. I have two grandchildren whose diaper-and-formula bottle eras intimately involved myself and my wife. Their overall behavior and attitude toward authority during that period almost exactly matched those of the DUmmies whose la-la-land missives I see posted at the DUmp. The typical Dummy's post is almost always what I would expect from a mentally impaired 25 year-old exhibiting a 20 month-old's rebellious and nonsensical behavior. Consequently, I give about the same degree of validity to their prepubescent opinions and beliefs as I did to those of my grandchildren during their diaper days.
The difference is that my grandchildren eventually grew up and entered adult society with sound minds exhibiting responsible adult attitudes and behavior, but the typical DUmmy hasn't reached that stage and probably never will.
