With "Occupy Wall Street" now over one month old with no coherent plan or demands, it is not surprising that the movement is now faltering. However, the collapse is coming from a slightly unexpected source: inside the movement itself.
Already there are reports of rampant thievery and rape. More telling, however, is the in-fighting all over the Occupy Wall Street forum and another, separate website called "The Multitude."
Most stark is the fact that Occupy Wall Street says that it stands for Democracy, yet those with dissenting opinions are castigated and ridiculed, while being told that they "don't count." Take this comment, for example, on a thread entitled, Maybe OWS is not for me?:
Considering that these people supposed support the "99%," it is exceedingly hypocritical for them to only think a small gathering at the "head" of the group are the most important.
In a post entitled Profiting From Protesting, one person decried making money off of the protests, arguing that they should not both argue against capitalism yet make money off of it. One enraged OWS member angrily responded (obscenities blurred):

Ha! It was only a matter of time.. talk about Astroturf!
The more they stew in their own urine and feces, the sooner the flies will come, lay thier eggs, and the maggots will come out to consume the whole pile of filth. This will eventually end with each infected city being forced, purely for sanitary and public health reasons (no sarcasm intended), to oust its “Occupation” and sanitize the entire area.
These people are ingrates of the highest order. These people are similar to the hippies and commies from the 60’s who advocated the destruction of our system and way of life while abusing the freedoms that said system extended to them in the first place.
The Left is composed of a bunch of factions that can only get along as long as they do not come into close contact.
Hahahah! It’s Animal Farm!
Hilarious parade of idiots.

Hence my tagline...
It’s getting cold. The pinkos will pack it up and continue planning for next year. This year was just a dry run anyway. This has always been about the 2012 election.
The first few nights below 32 degrees and a little sleet and snow would dissolve this protest in short order.
what I find interesting is that each city group already had lawyers at the ready.
The democrats and leftist power grabbers are looking to create their new brownshirts.
The only common theme, “HIGHER TAXES”
We’re seeing a collision of people who espouse a dissolution of private and personal possessions,
yet want to keep their own,
and can’t see the contradiction.
Also, I’ve read that the “postmodern” generation is “comfortable with contradiction”, ie, they don’t automatically make the logic step to “one of these things is wrong”. These people are asking for a dissonant disruption in their psyches if they try to maintain this mindset.
I recently had the privilege of meeting the father of the young lady that stood up and spoke in defense of Walker (who was yelled/cursed at by a union thug).
Some animals are more “equal” than others
does anone have an overhead show of the crowd?
with all those tall buildings, no ONE picture?
is the crowd really that small?
And hey, you OWS'ers... There will come a time thirty or forty years in the future when you will look back upon your behavior over the last month and you will be very, very embarrassed at how childish and incoherent you were. Trust me on this one.
All OWSers are created equal, but some OWSers are more equal than others!
