Some have speculated that, by delivering Florida for Romney, Conda would not only help Romney lock up the 2012 presidential nomination, but also secure the 2012 vice-presidential pick for Rubio.
I can’t see Rubio wanting much of anything to do with Romney. All he needs to do is call Palin for a refresher course on how well that works.
Why go to all the trouble to elect another liberal?
RINOmnehy is must Obama, albeit much more intelligent, but just as clueless about real life.
As I keep saying, I’ll not vote for him.
No, it wouldn’t allow idiotic liberalism to continue, it would merely allow it to continue a bit more slowly.
RINOmney has two more operational brain cells than Obama....which - if I calculate correctly, gives him roughly four.
When is Romney gonna get a clue? Cain will keep gathering momentum and Newt will overtake him soon....
FIRE that bastards ass!
While this move may have been an attempt to assist in nominating Romney, I believe this change was well underway before Cain started “surging”.
I will not vote for romney. Screw the republican establishment. America is in her death spiral now so let 0 have the credit for her demise.
If true, I am disappointed.
Indeed.
The GOP stinks to High Heaven.
They aren’t for me, and I definietly ain’t for them.
Now we know who to blame for knocking Sarah out of running. It was the FL push up that made it impossible for her to organize her ground game. I’m convinced that is why she dropped out. She could not have won with a whole month knocked off her organizing time.
Good news and bad news. The bad news is that GOP leaders are willing to help a big government liberal to get our nomination. The good news is that they see he needs help. Let’s pray that the help is too little, too late, and that RomneyCare will go into the history books as a blip and not stay on the books as the law of what used to be a free country.
If Marco hooks up with Romney he won’t get any more support from me.
She should have prepared to enter earlier.
However, I definitely agree that the GOP is trying to ace people out by changing primary dates.
Quite frankly, I am disgusted with the GOP.
I think most of us are. I would like to see a movement to establish a TEA PARTY and put an end to the GOP. Couldn’t establish it during an election year, but if we were committed to forming a new party, we could work on it full time before the next election year.
Agreed.
After this cycle, should America still in fact be standing, I am as done as I can be with the GOP.
There is a lot to be said for keeping the old, familiar name. If the Tea Party candidates can take a significant fraction of new GOP seats, and if the new conservative politicians can withstand pressure from the GOP insiders, we may be able to keep the GOP name and assets but move the party back toward what it was supposed to have been. It worked when the Communist Party USA took over the Democrat Party, and I'd like to see it happen on our side but in a positive direction.
That would be the ideal, but after what has happened after 2010, it looks to be almost impossible. The tentacles of progressivism extend throughout every facet of D.C. We may have to come at them from the outside.
